Go-Tober challenge inspires
employees to mix up their
commutes
October, or Go-Tober, is just around the corner, and Key
Equipment Finance is accepting the challenge to get as many of
its employees to try fun, smart ways to commute at least four
times during the month.
"We’re excited about this fun month," said Paige Yungstrom, a
Key Equipment Finance employee who leads the Project
impACT sustainability effort. "We have many dedicated people
here who love to bike, employees who take the bus every day,
and married couples who already ride together. I'd love to see
our company win the top prize."

Go-Tober is a whole month dedicated to experiencing new,
smarter ways to get around. Twenty-five companies with 100+
employees have been challenged to get as many of their
employees as possible to commute smarter at least 4 times in
October. They can walk, bike, carpool, vanpool or take light rail
or bus.
The challenge's goal is to reduce traffic congestion, improve air
quality and make smarter commuting easier for the region's
residents.
Go-Tober is sponsored by Way to Go is a regional partnership
between the Denver Regional Council of Governments
(DRCOG) and a dedicated group of seven Transportation
Management Associations (TMAs). These entities work together
to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality and make life
better for the region's residents. Formerly known as
RideArrangers, the group has been promoting better commuting
options for employers and individuals for more than 30 years.
