Logistics/Procurement handling expert possessing Twenty Eight years of professional
experience. Having eight years of experience handling the Work In Progress (WIP)
has instilled in me strong Program Management skills to review, analyze and update
projects. I possess the ability to scrutinize projects in order to overcome any possible
problem encountered during on time project closing. Vast experience in the technical
background provides me with better understanding towards products and processes
involved in logistics handling. Having an innovative mindset and technical expertise
has acquired me to have an affinity towards problem solving.

WORK EXPERIENCE
MOAMMAR INFORMATION SYSTEMS (MIS) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Since December, 1987:
 MIS is a project oriented company, and my role is to ensure timely processing of
Purchase Orders, ensure their delivery within specified time frames, and to secure
maximum profitability of the project. This requires a high level of negotiation
skills to maximize discounts and to obtain the best possible payment terms, not
only from the supplier but also from various shippers involved in the entire
process.
 Possess eight years’ experience working as a Senior WIP Purchase & Logistics
Manager to look after all the ONGOING projects to ensure deliverable and timely
closure of projects. This responsibility required reviewing multiple projects
simultaneously, timely alerting to the respective delivery managers for invoicing
project milestones, and thus producing realistic cash-flow projections for the
Management.
 Furthermore, had the opportunity to handle the procurement of customer orders
including CISCO networking equipment, Sun/Oracle Servers, HP Servers, and
Enterprise software from various international software houses.
 As a WIP Purchase & Logistic Manager, my other core responsibility included to
ensure delivery of components to customer sites within committed time frames
and timely processing of Customs/Clearance paper work. In this entire process,
penalty clauses are always kept under close watch and control.

 Completely familiar with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations (and some other
GCC laws) for import and export of IT related equipment. Additionally, have
exposure and familiarity with U.S. Export control laws.
 On occasional basis, handled company’s Finance and Accounting, managed
project financing with Banks and implemented strict cost control by closely
monitoring the supply chain partners. Also negotiated the best terms for various
Letters of Credit (LC) equally with Banks and clients.
 Controlled Maintenance Agreements, their schedules, notified the concerned sales
personnel and made sure that the customers are invoiced at the appropriate time.
All Maintenance Contracts require international partner interaction to cover the
client under maintenance.
 Early in my career, I was keenly involved in installation, commissioning and
maintenance of a range of computers and peripherals. (please see below)
MIS: December 1987 – June 1993: Worked as a Field Engineer, working on
proprietary hardware computer systems like Prime Computer and FileNet imaging
systems.
ORG SYSTEMS: June 1983 – December 1987: Worked as a Customer Support
Engineer, fixing problems with printers, tape drives and other computer peripherals.
