SITE LINK WIRELESS, LLC ∙ Site Acquisition Specialist USA, June 2007 – August 2008
Independent Contractor, on two major wireless roll-out projects:
Eleven week assignment covering maternity leave absence. Acquired 19 new wireless sites for Cricket
Communications. Completed Site Candidate Identification Packages. Managed A&E and
Environmental vendors. Successfully negotiated leases.
Nine month project managing Sprint Nextel’s turnkey vendors from acquisition stage up to NTP stage
for both WiMax and backhaul sites in the New Jersey/Lower Hudson Valley market. Ran site-by-site
meetings. Reported production numbers for New Jersey and Connecticut markets. Monitored over
1000 sites. Exceeded year-end delivery targets for 2007.

meetings with site acquisition specialists, legal counsel and A&E vendors. Provided site updates to

2. TELECOM NEW ZEALAND LTD ∙ Acquisition Project Manager -Team Leader NZ, November 2004 –
September 2006
Project managed the acquisition of mobile phone sites. Promoted from Acquisition Project
Consultant after ten months in the job. In first nine months as Team Leader exceeded delivery
targets for the acquisition of mobile phone sites for new technology roll-out project within allocated
time and budget.
Led a team of three Acquisition Project Consultants. Achieved buy-in of new acquisition and budget
management procedures from team members.
Accurately and regularly reported to Senior Managers on project progress. Actively highlighted
project risks and sought guidance when necessary.
Monitored budgets of 45 new sites. Total project budget was $660,000. Ensured spend was within
5% of budget.
Instituted 360 Feedback and Review sessions for civil engineering consultants. Encouraged open
discussion on process, organizational behaviors and documented agreed methods for
improvement.
Successfully negotiated license agreements with two large electricity providers, allowing Telecom
access to their substations, despite conflicting operational requirements.
Coordinated teams of external consultants throughout the country. Teams were made up of zoning
specialists, property consultants, attorneys, civil engineers, RF engineers and deployment
specialists.
Controlled the site selection process. Reviewed zoning and property scoping reports. Arranged
and attended site visits with consultants. Instructed preparation of property agreements and
resource consent applications.
Procured the legal rights to build and upgrade mobile base stations, as well as negotiated special
property deals with large customers. Avoided creating adverse publicity in the site selection
process. Complied fully with internal Communications Policy. Selected sites that fully complied with
zoning requirements, wherever possible.
Executed document management procedures. Completed final handover templates for
deployment. Kept complete records and file notes.
Controlled purchase orders. Ran financial reports in SAP. Monitored budgets and applied for
reauthorizations for expenditure if projects were unlikely to be completed before 80% of funds
committed.
