At the Child Guidance Clinic I worked in an international team under Dr Daniel Fung a child
psychiatrist specialized in children with special needs and there place in school. He formed
the COPES team. Consisting of professionals from Canada, Israel, Australia and Singapore.
Worked with children with severe autism, neurological and psychological problems and
children with selective mutism. As all children have a place in regular primary and secondary
schools we trained and coached teachers as well in cooperation with the ministry of
education in Singapore. We also provided the training School/ Classroom Survival Skills.
COPES is currently known as REACH/NBC.

Professional Experience
Cocreator Leuk leren, lekker in je Vel. (Feel good, learn better!) A training for 12 year olds to
teach them to learn about their best learning strategies and how to learn more effective in a
fun and effective way. This combined with creating personal insights in ones strength using
positive affirmations. The training Leuk Leren, lekker in je vel, was awarded with the
maximum of three star by the Nederlans Team Onderwijs.
Creator training ‘Communication in a multi cultural setting’ , teaching kindergarten teachers
and daycare teachers to optimize communication between them and parents coming to the
Netherlands as political refugees who have to go thru integration courses and leaving there
children in Dutch daycare system. Highlighting difference in upbringing of children and how
to cope with these differences.
