Shopee
4. Problem faced by Shopee users :
Items are not properly sort by the filter bar.
Customers still use conventional way to snap
the desired items
5. PROBLEM #1…
The location of the filter bar is at
the top right corner of the picture
Currently, when customer search
for ‘heels’, the filter bar unable to sort
the item properly according to its
category
There are also several sneakers or
sandal in that section
6. PROBLEM #2
Luckily, Shopee MY has the ‘Chat Now’ bar for the
sellers and customers to communicate in real time.
The problem is, customers still have to snap their items
and send it to the sellers. (conventional way)
Need more storage in their phone for the pictures.
7. PROBLEM #2 (CONT.)…
Currently, customers will need to
chat the sellers personally to ask
about the availability of the item.
They need to click the ‘Chat Now’
button at the bottom left corner.

Customers will need to click the
‘Gallery’ button in order to send the
image
Then, from the gallery, they will
search for the image according to its
location in their phone gallery.

Do not have to face the seller in person
No need to email or make a phone call to know the
details about product
15. WEAKNESSES OF CHAT
The customers can only have a communication by
typing messages
They cannot use voice note in communication
Mostly if they want to purchase a specific item, they
need to click on that item before proceed to chat

o Shopee is the popular online shopping among user
o The basic features in Shopee is the filter toolbars
and chat
o The improvements in Shopee is to add Automatic
Filtration System and Upgraded Chat Toolbar
System
o To show the prototype of these improvements, we
used MockingBot application
