Nora Mahfouf has extensive experience in research focusing on antimicrobial resistance and essential oils. She holds a PhD in biology from the University of Chadli Ben Djedid in Algeria. Her experience includes positions as a researcher and assistant professor at Badji Mokhtar University in Algeria from 2014 to 2019 and freelance work with organizations such as AMR Control, Global Health Dynamics, and the AMR Think-Do-Tank. I worked with Pr Antoine Andremont (one of the leading international experts in the study of
antibiotic resistance in bacteria) on antimicrobial resistance.
▪ Conduct a literature search on the sampling methods used around the world to detect
multiresistance bacteria in humans. The results will be used by WHO to implement projects of
surveillance and monitoring of antimicrobial resistance in developing countries including
contribution towards creation of intellectual property and technical capabilities.
▪ Contribute to achievement of IP related objectives and comply with IP management process and
related mechanisms across the research projects under purview
▪ Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information to anyone within or outside the organisation, in
line with approved corporate guidelines.
