Greetings, my name is Satu-Ra. I
am a Guardian, here to protect the
earth and the human race as we know
it, from a form of rabies known as
the Madness. Along with a Band of
Greys on Earth that are involved in
the trafficking of humans for
reasons yet unknown, who are sent
to stop us. As Guardians, we must
stop the Greys to get to the source
of the Madness. We have forged
alliances with military and
government officials, along with
Indian Tribes who hide our secret,
all to protect the human race. I am
known on earth as John Bridges.
There are several of us Guardians
amongst the human race, but you
would never know.....
EXT./INT. JOHN BRIDGE’S- BEDROOM - SARASOTA - DAY
JOHN BRIDGES, looks 30, also known as (SATU-RA) from his
planet is, A Guardian, strong athletic build he lays on the
bed, half-asleep, television on low, until...
--In the distance you HEAR a SIREN edging closer - right
outside. John exits room, HEAR CAR DOORS, a woman SCREAMS, a
GUNSHOT.
EXT. JOHN BRIDGE’S HOUSE - DAY (CONTINUOUS)
--A car in ditch, three police cars SURROUND it, guns DRAWN.
Neighbors, ANN and BUCK in the front yard, ANN has been SHOT,
she is on the GROUND. Buck is CROUCHING over Ann. STANDING
over Buck is a 15 year old BOY with GUN in HAND.
INTERCUT WITH:
AERIAL SHOT, John STANDING OUTSIDE, reaches out with his
MIND, SCANS the group.
3. Ann’s CONDITION failing, everyone’s FOCUS is on the BOY.
SLOW MOTION, John makes a WAVING motion with hand SCREEN IS
IRIDESCENT....
GUN IN BOYS HAND
--Trigger mechanism is frozen as BOY tries to FIRE, NOTHING
happens.
BOY
--Turns to run, FALLS over a walkway stone, the stone LOWERS
back to the ground.
Buck POUNCES on the BOY.....BEATING him.
COP #1 and COP #2 PULL Buck off the BOY.
COP #3, OFFICER STEVE BENSON, 40, descendant of a Guardian, a
CHOSEN ONE and widower, KICKS the BOY in the HEAD. The Boy
SLUMPS to the ground.
Officer Steve Benson PULLS the HAMMER back on his gun, his
hand TENSES.
JOHN BRIDGES (V.O.)
If you shoot him in front of all
these witnesses, will the police
still need my security camera
footage, as evidence?
Officer Steve Benson PAUSES, he looks into John Bridges EYES,
Benson FREEZES, his hand relaxes, as he TREMBLES, the gun
LOWERS. Officer Benson looks DOWN, he CROUCHES over the BOY,
CUFFING him.
Cop #1 and Cop #2, and Buck are helping Ann with her
injuries.
John WALKS into the house.
The AMBULANCE ARRIVES for Ann.
UNKNOWN P.O.V.
Walks up to John’s door, KNOCKS.
John OPENS the door.

4. ON JOHN AND OFFICER BENSON
Officer Benson is STANDING looking at John, their eyes LOCK,
confusion on Benson’s FACE. Benson BREAKING eye contact,
looks DOWN, SENSING something.
John LOOKS at Officer Benson’s name tag.
JOHN BRIDGES
Can I help you, Officer?
Officer Benson STANDS silent. A long beat.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON
Yes sir, I need to get a statement
from you, please.
Officer Benson is HOLDING a small note-pad full of notes.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON (CONT’D)
Could I get your name, please?
JOHN BRIDGES
Mr. John Bridges
OFFICER STEVE BENSON
Would you like to make a statement?
JOHN BRIDGES
I don’t think I need to. You did a
good job.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON
(distraught)
I almost killed him.
(beat)
That’s not what I signed on for.
JOHN BRIDGES
It’s not your fault.
(beat)
What is more important, you did the
right thing.
(leans closer to Officer
Benson)
Never, give up!
Officer Benson CLOSES his eyes, looks DOWN.

5. FLASH IMAGE
Officer Benson with his SON, looks a lot like the BOY from
the earlier encounter.

You saved me from making a big
mistake, Thank you!
JOHN BRIDGES
Perhaps, next time, you can save
me.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON
(pauses)
Goodbye, Mr. Bridges.
Officer Benson TURNS, WALKS away, he looks BACK.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON (CONT’D)
Do you really have a security
camera?
John Bridges smiles, POINTS to the CAMERA on the window.
JOHN BRIDGES
Smile for the birdie.
SMASH CUT TO:
INT. SECURED ROOM- LOCATION UNKNOWN
A DOZEN GREYS, their eyes all look glazed over, their
appearance is GREY TINT to skin, everything they wear is
GREY, they are bringing a MAN an (Earther) toward a
examination table.
The MAN, appears 20’s, is STRUGGLING trying to get free from
the hold of the Greys he KICKS and SCREAMS without success.
The Greys hold the MAN DOWN while one of the Grey’s walks
over with a vial. Inside the vial is a tick-like creature.
The Grey OPENS the vial, TILTING the vial DOWNWARD just
inches away from the man’s face. The tick-like creature
lands just inches away from the man’s nose.
The MAN SCREAMS as the tick-like creature crawls into the
edge of the man’s nose then disappears INSIDE the NOSE. The
SCREAMS become MORE URGENT and PAINFUL for a long beat.

6. The MAN goes LIMP, he appears to be dead a long beat.
Abruptly, his eyes SHOOT open, his eyes are GLAZED over, he
is now a Grey. The Greys holding him down, release their
hold on him, letting him get up.
FADE TO BLACK.
EXT./INT. JOHN BRIDGE’S HOUSE
John sits a container of ICE CREAM on the counter, feeling a
presence behind him, TURNS.
MIKE UBARE, appears, 6’, looks 35, a GUARDIAN built like a
weight-lifter, he is a priest and a doctor. He STANDS,
smiling, WEARING at T-shirt that reads... ARE YOU TRYING TO
PISS ME OFF!
MIKE UBARE
(devilish grin)
I hope you have enough ice cream to
share.
JOHN BRIDGES
Stay away from my ice-cream, or,
I’ll go human on you.
John and Mike GRAB straws off the table. They begin FENCING
around the room, til they break down LAUGHING.
John and Mike SIT down at the table, EATING strawberry ice-
cream, as they FINISH, they CLOSE their eyes, an iridescent
glowing flow begins..

INT. N.I.H.T. CLINIC - RECEPTION OFFICE
The RECEPTIONIST hands STEVE BENSON, TODD BENSON, 17 son of
Steve Benson, along with MAGGIE BENSON, 27, sister of Steve
Benson forms to fill out.
RECEPTIONIST
You must fill out these forms in
order to complete the Clinical
Trial for the new Flu vaccine.

7. Steve, Todd and Maggie take the forms, sit down and fill them
out.
Behind the receptionist’s counter you SEE, LINDA a young
woman 18, and BOB a young man 18 as they both EXIT the door
that READS: N.I.H.T. CLINIC
BACK TO:
INTERIOR KITCHEN
INT. JOHN BRIDGE’S HOUSE
John WALKS into the pantry, which is also a safe-room. He
OPENS a vault door, REVEALING an advanced weapons cache.
John PULLS out a weapons glove, tossing it to Mike. He PULLS
out another glove for himself. They both put their gloves
ON, the GLOVES becomes INVISIBLE.
John PULLS out another two gloves, TOSSING one to Mike, they
both put ON the gloves, which disappear.
FLASH POP TO: IMAGES OF GUARDIANS
Guardians all GEARING up in Ninja outfits, with gloves, staff
weapons, force-field generators and swords.
BACK TO:
INTERCUT - INT. / EXT. JOHN’S HOUSE - DAY
John and Mike sit in the kitchen. John HEARS an INCOMING
WHISTLE, standard 3” mortar round, it HITS the front yard,
BLOWING UP most of the driveway.
EXT. JOHN’S YARD
A second round HITS, BLOWING OFF the front door... beat.
INT. KITCHEN SAFE-ROOM
Mike and John FALL into the pantry, SLAMMING the door SHUT.
Another round HITS the house square, BLOWING OUT every door
and window. The SAFE ROOM is the only thing left STANDING.
Every 3 to 5 seconds another mortar HITS, the GROUND SHAKES,
bits of DUST FALLS from the ceiling in the SAFE-ROOM.

8. JOHN BRIDGES
(to Mike, he smiles)
My neighbors are going to hate me,
by dinner time.
John TAPS ON the force-field on the glove he has, STANDS UP,
EXITS the safe-room.
EXT. JOHN’S NEIGHBORHOOD - DAY (AERIAL SHOT)
John’s HOUSE is a pile of SMOKING rubble.
John steps out into the SUNSHINE, Mike steps out BESIDE him,
their FORCE-FIELDS LIGHT UP, being HIT by small arms fire.
Mike DISAPPEARS (folding space). John STANDS in the OPEN,
drawing FIRE as Mike WORKS the CROWD on the ROOFTOPS.
John HEARS a SCREAM, he LOOKS to his right. Mike is THROWING
a SNIPER in a GREY UNIFORM off the roof, TWO BLOCKS away.
Mike REAPPEARS (folding space) across the street, STANDING
over SNIPER #2 on the ROOF, of another home. Sniper #2 LOOKS
UP at Mike and JUMPS OFF the roof, he lands like a BAG OF
SAND, never moves.
A mortar round HITS in front of John. He GAZES around to see
his home is RUBBLE. He SCANS OUT to see 6 UNCONSCIOUS
ATTACKERS, all arranged in a SEMI-CIRCLE around the house.
John DISAPPEARS (folding space), REAPPEARING in front of the
MORTAR MAN. Mike APPEARS on the other side of him....
Mike SHOVES the Mortar Man over, in doing so, the man DROPS
the MORTAR ROUND that is in his HAND. The Mortar Man SCREAMS
trying to CRAWL over John’s feet, trying to GET AWAY.
John REACHES DOWN with the GLOVE, CRUSHING the mortar tube,
FLIPPING the tube across the open field, in FRONT of him.
John’s FORCE-FIELD GLOWS as sniper fire BOUNCES OFF.
Mike DISAPPEARS (folding space), another SNIPER FALLS from a
ROOF TOP, all is QUIET across the street.
John GRIMACES, he LOOKS DOWN at his leg. A large KNIFE
sticks out, just ABOVE the knee.
INTERCUT WITH MORTAR MAN AND JOHN BRIDGES
Mortar Man LOOKS UP at John, SMIRKS... He PULLS BACK his
wrist, TWO LONG NEEDLES protrude from his SLEEVE, he SHOVES
them into John’s leg.

9. JOHN P.O.V.
FUZZY vision, he attempts to FOLD SPACE, but cannot
concentrate.
MORTAR MAN
Is on the GROUND, he has John by the leg. He PULLS the KNIFE
out of his leg, STABBING him again in the leg.
JOHN
FALLS to the ground, SCREAMING.
JOHN BRIDGES AND THE MORTAR MAN
The Mortar Man on the ground with John, PULLS the KNIFE out
of John’s leg, POUNCES on John, trying to STAB him in the
stomach.
JOHN P.O.V. - OF MORTAR MAN
Sees the Mortar Man’s head EXPLODE, the Mortar Man FALLS atop
of John DEAD. John’s VISION is BLURRY.
HAND
A strong HAND reaches DOWN, GRABS John’s arm.
OFFICER BENSON AND JOHN BRIDGES
Officer Benson DRAGS John to shelter among a CLUSTER OF
TREES.
JOHN BRIDGES AND OFFICER BENSON
John LOOKS UP, confusion on face, see’s Officer Benson with
GUN DRAWN, as he looks around for SNIPERS, he CROUCHES over
John.
JOHN BRIDGES
(mumbles)
I guess... I needed saving, sooner
than expected.
Benson SMILES, he visually SCANS the trees and the roof-tops.

10. OFFICER STEVE BENSON (V.O.)
(mental ping)
I owe you!
John is unconscious.
INT. OFFICER BENSON’S HOUSE - LATER (CONTINUOUS)
John is SLEEPING in a room, WAKES UP to VOICES in the next
room, he’s trying to LISTEN. He tries to do a SCAN but he is
not strong enough.
From the other room, HEAR a TV reporter, News Broadcast.
REPORTER (O.S.)
There has been a home destroyed,
due to Gang Warfare, explosives
used in Sarasota, FL.
John SITS UP, tries to STAND on his feet. His leg hurts,
PAIN shows on his face, he takes a FEW STEPS, the PAIN gets
WORSE.
The bedroom door SLIGHTLY OPEN, light PEERS through the
crack. John SEES Mike Ubare through the CRACK in the door,
he is in the kitchen, appears RELAXED.
John OPENS the door, WALKS through. Mike Ubare, Officer
Benson and Todd Benson all STAND upon John’s entrance.
OFFICER STEVE BENSON
(telepathically pings)
Please call me Steve. This is my
son, Todd.
TODD BENSON, is smart, intelligent, has powers to heal
wounds.
John attempts a MIND SCAN on Officer Benson and his son Todd,
nothing. A look of CONFUSION appears on John’s face.
Mike Ubare BURSTS out LAUGHING.
MIKE UBARE
It’s Okay, John. They’re good
guys.
JOHN BRIDGES (V.O.)
(to self)
I couldn’t scan the humanoids, why?
I can tell the boy is confused and
scared.

11. Officer Benson places his HAND on his son’s SHOULDER. The
kid’s FEAR SUBSIDES, right away.
John, Mike, Officer Benson and Todd all TELEPATHICALLY LINK.
Long Beat.
SMASH TO:
INT. N.I.H.T. CLINIC - LAB
Two MEN in WHITE LAB COATS are standing in the lab looking
through paperwork.
Part of an IMAGE APPEARS out of no where on the other side of
the lab where the test tubes all sit in a container. All you
SEE is a MONK TYPE dress, with sleeves of which a CLOSE UP on
the sleeves SHOW OLD WRINKLED HANDS, with a test tube that
reads CHOSEN DNA, placing the test tube in with the rest.
The Monks dressed image DISAPPEARS.
A long beat. Lab Coat #1, walks over to the test tubes, pulls
out the one labeled, CHOSEN DNA, he walks back over to his
work station next to Lab Coat #2 as he takes a syringe,
withdrawing fluid from the test tube.
LAB COAT #1
(to LAB COAT#2)
We now have a thousand people, they
call the CHOSEN, for this new
enzyme treatment.
LAB COAT #2
Apparently Mike said, they were
originally from the SHADOW GROUPS
experiment, that the government
hosted. Which apparently went all
wrong.
(beat)
We are trying to right the wrong
with this new test enzyme, to help
people that are stricken with the
Madness.

John STANDING becomes AWARE of the PAIN in his leg, he
STAGGERS due to the overwhelming pain.
Todd’s FACE is STRAINING IN PAIN, as his FOCUS is on John’s
pain.
TODD BENSON (V.O.)
(whispers, huskily)
Heal!
Todd’s eyes ROLL UP. A Beat.
INTERCUT BETWEEN JOHN AND THE MEN IN ROOM
JOHN’S LEG WOUNDS
--See them heal before your very eyes.
Mike DROPS the coffee cup, his mouth is WIDE OPEN in
amazement. He grabs some paper-towels, BENDS down, CLEANS UP
his mess.
MIKE UBARE
The boy is a natural empathy.
Everyone in the room SMILES at each other.
ABRUPTLY 4 GUARDIANS APPEAR (folding space), into the room MI-
CHING (NICKNAME KATE) appears 27, Chinese, martial artist
combat trained, a GUARDIAN with 3 of her followers, Samurai
Swords DRAWN.

(telepathically pings)
Kate, What are you doing here?
Kate SMILES, lowers her SWORD, her fellow GUARDIANS lower
their SWORDS. Kate steps CLOSER to John.
KATE (MI-CHING)
This a rescue, you idiot! Shut up!
Kate MENTALLY SCANS the room, she stares at Todd, her eyes
WIDEN, she SCANS John’s leg. A TREMOR passes through her.
KATE (MI-CHING) (V.O.)(CONT’D)
(to her 3 Guardians,
telepathically)
Stand down and return to your post.
Kate’s 3 Guardians, DISAPPEAR (FOLDING SPACE).
John and Kate’s gaze LOCK on one another.
MIKE UBARE (V.O.)
(telepathically ping)
Get a room, you two!
Officer Steve Benson and Todd both BLUSH. Kate is not fazed
at all.
John MOTIONS for them all to sit at the table. They each
PULL up a chair and sit.
Todd’s focus is on Kate. He is caught by her beauty. A look
of embarrassment appears on Steve’s face, knowing Todd’s
thoughts. Todd realizes his thoughts are known to all, he
flushes with embarrassment.
Kate REACHES OUT to Todd, she HOLDS his hand across the
table. A beat. All is quiet.
