I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Noelle Hecht. I have known Noelle
for more than two years and I came to know her very well as a student employee under my
supervision in the Department of Campus Recreation at the University of Dayton.
Noelle has been employed in a variety of ways during her time at Campus Recreation.
Noelle’s primary role was served as the Group Fitness Supervisor. Noelle has also worked
as a Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Attendant during her employment.
Noelle was responsible for assisting with administration of the Group Fitness program. She
has shown great leadership abilities within this position and has lead by example and
positively influenced her peers. Noelle’s work has included interviewing, hiring, training and
evaluating Group Fitness Instructors during this past year. This position also included
monitoring of employee performance, sponsorship acquisition, special event management
and monthly staff meetings. Our instructors grew exponentially as individuals and
instructors with her consistent leadership and passion. Noelle accomplished all of these
tasks and more with focus on quality and enthusiasm.
Noelle also worked as a Group Fitness Instructor during her time with Campus Recreation.
The classes Noelle lead, included: Barre, Fit in 50, Cardio Strength Intervals, and boot camp.
Noelle spent a good amount of her time as an instructor making improvements in
participant satisfaction and making her class experience the best they can be.
Noelle not only has the desire to learn for herself, but she uses her excellent knowledge
base in situations where others can learn from her. This is another characteristic that
stands out and makes Noelle a tremendous individual. I never have to worry about work
being completed, as Noelle is self-started and highly motivated. She is more than willing to
complete tasks that are above and beyond her day-to-day duties. I cannot say enough
about Noelle and her commitment and dedication to our department. She is a very
valuable asset to our staff and to the fitness department and her exceptional leadership is
an example for others to follow.
If you have any further questions concerning Noelle, please feel free to contact me at 937-
229-2705 or jchase1@udayton.edu; I would be glad to give you any information concerning
her capabilities.
Sincerely,
Johnny Chase
