Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakra (Sahasrara chakra or crown chakra) is the seventh chakra in the body that activates divine energy. The Sanskrit word Sahasrara means 'thousand' or 'infinite'. The 7 chakras in the body are symbolized by the petals of a lotus flower, which preserve the flow of energy. When all the petals are fully opened, a universal balance of body, mind, and soul is achieved. The Sahasrara Chakra is located at the top of the head and is also known as the Crown Chakra. Sahasrara is the last of the seven chakras.
1. Sahasrara Chakra
Hi,
In our previous posts, we learned about The Muladhara Chakra,
Swadhishthana Chakra, Manipura Chakra, Anahata Chakra,
Vishuddha Chakra and Ajna Chakra. Now in this post, we take a step
forward and try to get some knowledge about another most important
human Chakra called, Sahasrara Chakraโ.
2. Sahasrara Chakra
Crown center
Sahasrara = thousand, infinite, innumerable
Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakra (Sahasrara chakra or crown chakra) is
the seventh chakra in the body that activates divine energy. The Sanskrit
word Sahasrara means 'thousand' or 'infinite'. The 7 chakras in the body
are symbolized by the petals of a lotus flower, which preserve the flow of
energy. When all the petals are fully opened, a universal balance of body,
mind, and soul is achieved. The Sahasrara Chakra is located at the top of
the head and is also known as the Crown Chakra. Sahasrara is the last of
the seven chakras.
The Sahasrara Chakra is located at the top of the head. It is also called the
"Thousand Petaled Lotus," "Brahma Randhra" (Gateway of God), or "The
Center of Laksh Rays" because it radiates light like the Sun. No other light
comes close to the brightness of the Sun. Similarly, the energies and
radiations of all the other chakras get clouded by the radiation of the
Sahasrara Chakra.
There is an important power in the Sahasrar Chakra: Medha Shakti. Brain
power is a hormone that affects brain processes such as memory,
concentration, and intelligence. Medha Shakti can be activated and
strengthened by yoga exercises.
The Sahasrara Chakra does not have any special color or quality. It is pure
light, which has all the colors. The energy of all the nadis is combined in
this center, similar to how thousands of rivers flow into the ocean. Here the
soul is the back of Shiva. The awakening of the Sahasrara Chakra means a
divine miracle and a vision of the Supreme Consciousness. Just as the
night vanishes with the sunrise, in the same way, ignorance vanishes
(destroyed) by the awakening of the Sahasrara Chakra.
3. This chakra represents the purpose of yogaโself-realization, and
God-realization, where the soul of the individual connects with the
consciousness of the universe. One who attains this is freed from all karma
and attains mokshaโcompletely free from the cycle of rebirth and death. In
meditation, the yogi reaches Nirvikalpa Samadhi (the highest level of
trance) at the Sahasrara Chakra, where the mind becomes completely still
and the knowledge, the knower, and the known are merged into one and
attain perfection.
The thousand-petalled lotus blossoming in the Sahasrara Chakra is
symbolic of the whole, expanded consciousness. The deity of this chakra is
Lord Shiva in the form of pure, supreme consciousness. Its corresponding
form is the principle Aditattva, the supreme, spiritual principle. The mantra
is the same as it is for the Ajna Chakra โ the basic chant 'เฅ', 'Om'.
Location of the Sahasrara chakra
The Sahasrara Chakra is located on the crown of the head below the
Brahmarandhra, which is easily visible in a newborn baby. It is also known
as the thousand-petalled lotus, Brahmarandhra (the gate of Brahma), and
the source of light (because a supernatural light as bright as the sun
emanates from it). No other light reaches the brightness of the Sun.
Similarly, in front of the incomparable brightness of the Sahasrara Chakra,
the brightness of all other chakras fades.
4. Sahasrara Chakra
The spiritual connection to purple
Purple or white is the color of the Crown Chakra. Purple is the color of
spirituality and it is a unifying color. When fully activated, all the qualities of
other chakras are contained. It also brings a strong sense of letting go and
5. the joy of change. Due to this, a deep change is felt. The feeling that arises
from the color violet or purple allows one to see the existence of oneself
beyond material and material values.
Sahasrara Chakra imbalance problems
The biggest challenge of the Crown Chakra is on a mental level. When
someone goes too far back. attached to the materialistic pursuits of this
existence, and at the same time trapped in his own way of thinking.
A person with a blocked Sahasrara Chakra may experience a reluctance to
be open to other thoughts, ideas, or knowledge.
When the Sahasrara Chakra is imbalanced, symptoms such as psychosis,
disconnection from the body, and being disconnected or disconnected and
ungrounded also appear.
Can produce different symptoms depending on the excessive or insufficient
activity.
