Re: Letter of Reference for Mr. Nikhil Kamal Shahani
To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. Nikhil Kamal Shahani is a graduate student in our Master of Science in Information Systems
(MSIS) program since the Fall Semester 2015. The Stevens MSIS program prepares graduates for
roles at the intersection of business and information technology, with a particular emphasis on
business analytics, process improvement, and strategic decision making. I have come to known
Mr. Shahani for over a year in my role as program director for the MSIS program. In addition, Mr.
Shahani has worked as a graduate assistant in the School of Business, providing support to the
director of graduate management programs and the student and faculty support center.
Mr. Shahani’s undergraduate work in instrumentation engineering and his Cisco certifications have
provided him with a valuable technical foundation which he is complementing with the more
managerial concepts of the MSIS degree at Stevens. I have come to know him as a diligent, hard
working, and ambitious individual. He has performed very well in a variety of subjects, ranging
from Project Management to Financial Analysis and Business Intelligence.
In his role as a graduate assistant he has provided invaluable assistance to both program directors,
faculty, and administrators of the School of Business at Stevens. Mr. Shahani has proven to be a
proactive problem-solver, and has proven very reliable in a dynamic work environment.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions.
