7. Round-robin brainstorming
Everyone writes an idea (problem analysis, solution etc) on the card in front of
them, passes the card to the person on their right, and then takes the card of
the person who’s on their left. As the second person writing on the new card,
you’ll read what the person before you wrote and develop a new idea based on
the inspiration you get from theirs. The activity ends when your initial card
comes back to you. You’ll be creating your ideas individually but will still inspire
all your team members, and will be inspired by them. At the end of the activity
take a few minutes to discuss how your ideas evolved.

13. Concept fan
Find the center of the paper and draw a circle to the right of the center, where
you will write your problem. Draw lines to the right of the circle, on top of which
you’ll write possible solutions. If the problem statement and the solutions you
suggested aren’t enought to work on, draw an arrow to the left from your circle
and draw a second circle in which you’ll make a broader problem definition.
From that circle back to the right, draw more arrows for new detailed problem
statements, above and below the first circle. Make solution suggestions for your
new problem statements. You can grow your chart as much as you want until
you get a statement and solutions that satisfy you.
