Definition:

raw materials and production through distribution to the final customer,
in the most streamlined and cost-effective way possible.

1. Planning:
Supply chain management at Tabros Pharma actually starts from
the Planning. The key role of planning is to plan and strategize the quantity
of required product by getting the sales forecast from marketing and then
purchases of raw and packing material.
This plan is developed three months before the actual production
by considering the lead time of arrival of imported raw or packing material for
production. After receiving the sales forecast, Supply Chain management
develops the production plan through the customized ERP software.

The production plan is then analyzed by the senior management of
the company for the accuracy based on the actual facts and figures and the
physical circumstances like production capacity, determined batch size, labor
requirement, working hours, present capital and resources.
The production plan can be amended on the suggestions of the
senior management on the basis of such circumstances and facts and
figures if required.

3. Packaging and Raw Material:
Once the production plan is approved by the chief executive and
rest of the management of the company, the raw and packing material
requirement is then prepared by the help of ERP software which presents the
figures of pending orders, in-transit raw or packing material as well as the
requirement of purchases for production after lessening the pending and in-
transit items.
The material requirement plan is also analyzed by the senior
management before finalizing and to place orders for purchasing the raw or
packing material for the production in the local or in the international market.
