French Haute Maroquinerie brand Thalie Paris, a
pioneer in eco-luxury was founded in 2020 by Nathalie
Dionne, CEO of SAS Brand Creatives, a Paris based
creative design studio specializing in sustainable
innovation and experiential luxury.
DISCOVER THALIE’S STORY
It was in the month of March 2020 during the Paris covid
lockdown that Thalie Paris’ Founder and Creative
Director, Nathalie Dionne, who lives in Paris 16th found
written THALIE on a 30’s bas-relief featuring Greek Muses
by French Sculptor Janniot at Palais de Tokyo. The
brand was created in the middle of a world pandemic
with a desire to explore experiential luxury, innovative
and recycled materials for french luxury leather goods.
Sustainability is an opportunity not a constraint to
creativity. At Thalie, we take recycling to art.
Thalie’s Sushi collection offers triangular signature
salmon patchwork bags made from Squama Luxe, a
recycled salmon leather made from discarded skins
from French sushi shop. This marine leather is developed by ICTYOS – a Lyon France based

At Thalie Paris, we create daring handbags for those who do not want to compromise on styling
and functionality, but understand the importance of not over-consuming while using available
resources. Our iconic styles the Livia, Cleo and Raphaelle are entirely Made in France in EPV
Ateliers using recycled marine leathers & upcycling from french luxury dormant stock,
implementing a virtuous circle.

In ancient Greek, Thalie (from Thaleia) means “The flourishing”. Thalie in the Italian Renaissance is
one of the 3 Graces. It is said that Thalie brought beauty to the world and through her nature

Thalie Paris is a laureate of the French Fab & a key New Player in French eco-luxury set to meet the
UN Sustainable development Goals. The project has received support from Paris Initiative
Enterprise, PIA Fab & INMA, BPI France’s innovative fund and accelerator. The project has also
received support from ImpactAGE, a Milan based impact fund led by ex CEO of Jil Sander,
Alessandro Cremonesi.

Thalie Paris was first shown at Tranoï in Paris in June 2021 and in October 2021 at Paris Première
Classe. Sold exclusively at upscale, vegan & sustainable driven retailers and marketplaces in
France, UK, Dubaï, Germany and USA. L’Exception Paris, Immaculate Vegan, Silo & Vaund in
Germany, Lesetta in the USA, AL Tayer’s luxury group will also feature the brand Thalie at
Bloomingdales.ae from SS22.
✥ A virtual exhibition can be seen on thalieparis.com curated by Atelier 7Sven "An Ode to
Thalie and Androgyny" seen by rising star French photographer Frédéric Monceau. The black
and white shots feature 16 Thalie's black bags either recycled or upcycled worn by Eden
Meyer an androgynous model : this collaboration explores the question of gender in the
aesthetics of fashion, and how it has gradually become an artistic tool for changing
mentalities. Thalie makes it a point of honor to consider diversity as a real strength, inclusivity is
one of the 8 main pillars of the brand : Discover the Thalie x Frédéric Monceau exhibition
✥ Experiential luxury through a virtual showroom in which Thalie's creations are presented in
an “ultra luxury” environment entirely digitized. Punctuated with furniture by the French
designer Fabrice Ausset, this immersive and atypical experience at the heart of the brand's

trade show in Paris among the most innovative players in retail. SORGA
blockchain technology has been integrated to Thalie’s bags, whereas
an elegant QR code of diamond shape allows you to discover the
making of the iconic Livia from the “Sushi Collection” made in France.
Allowing traceability of materials and fabrication, suppliers and
workshops. This brand new collaboration makes Thalie Paris a pioneer in
terms of transparency in the luxury industry.
✥Thalie featured in November 2021 at Dubaï 2020 World Expo at the Monaco 360 Pavilion. On
this occasion, the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week under the patronage of Princess Charlene
organized a live performance show highlighting Thalie’s eco-conceived luxury bags equipped

✥ In May 2021, Thalie Paris was invited to the official calendar of the Monte-Carlo Fashion
Week 2021 that highlighted the most promising international sustainable brands. Showcased
at the MCFW21 Pop-up store, Thalie’s bags took part in the famous F1 Amber Lounge Fashion
Show in Monaco.
