MOVIE
‘14 Peaks’ is a truly inspiring story about
bravery and determination. “Impossible”
was the message he received from
the world; therefore, he named it
Project Possible 14/7.
This Netflix documentary shows how
the Nepalese Mountaineer Nirmal Purja
adds cultural story, band of brotherhood
and transcending experience to an
unprecedented physical challenge.
He wanted to break the world record
by climbing the 14 highest peaks on the
planet in 7 months instead of 7 years.
A challenge too ample to grasp, a will to
help others, the power of the mind and a
band of brothers were his key ingredients.
That’s why this movie impacted and
moved our team.
The film was directed by Torquil Jones
and produced by Noah Media Group,
Little Monster Films, and Torquil Jones,
with Nirmal Purja, Jimmy Chin, and
Elizabeth Vasarhelyi as executive
producers.

Botticcelli is back
EXHIBITION
The Jacquemart André museum is
hosting an exhibition of Botticelli’s most
legendary masterpieces (1445-1510). ​
Botticelli is one of the greatest painters of
the Italian Renaissance. He is also ranked
as the second most expensive artist (after
Leonardo Da Vinci) thanks to his « Giovane
Uomo con in Mano Una Medaglia »
portrait, sold by Sotheby’s for 92,2 million
dollars in New York City. ​
Through forty artworks, the show
celebrates Botticelli’s creative genius,
which you have to experience for yourself.​
Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi
known as Sandro Botticelli was an Italian
painter of the Early Renaissance. Among
his most famous paintings, you can find:
Sacra conversazione altarpiece (1470- 72),
called the Pala di Sant’Ambrogio,
St. Sebastien (1474), and the famous Birth
of Venus (1485) exhibited in the National
Gallery in London.​

From 1920 to 2020, Vogue Paris has shown
Paris as the epicenter of cultural and
artistic life. ​
An entire century is portrayed in a major
exhibition at Palais Galliera, highlighting
the great artwork of illustrators and
photographers who contributed to the
magazine’s history.​
Several ones that were encouraged by the
French magazine have their photography
work and illustrations exposed like
Hoyningen-Huene, Bourdin, Klein, Newton,
Watson, Testino and Inez & Vinoodh.​
Through this cultural event, Vogue Paris
pays tribute to its iconic editors in chief
who built the magazine strong legitimacy.
Thanks to their visionary artistic choices,
they all contributed to its success, from
Michel de Brunhoff to Edmonde Charles-
Roux, Carine Roitfeld, and Emmanuelle Alt.​
Finally, it emphasizes the most famous
couturiers such as Karl Lagerfeld and
Yves Saint-Laurent that the magazine
supported through their careers.​

SPORTS - EVENTS​
Paris will be organising the Olympic and
Paralympic Games in 2024, the biggest
event ever organized in France, with a new
historical twist. Parisian citizens and visitors
will have the chance to attend the opening
ceremony in the city. Impressive shows and
performances will be held along the Seine
river, spectacularly ending the ceremony at
the Trocadéro space with the Eiffel Tower
as a backdrop.​Paris 2024 is breaking new
ground in sports competition by bringing
sports into the city and out of a stadium.
Taking on a new guise, the parade of
athletes will be held on the river, with boats
for each national delegation, equipped
with cameras to allow viewers to see the
athletes up close. Winding their way from
east to west, the 10.500 athletes will thus
cross through the center of Paris, the overall
playing field for the games, showcasing their
sporting prowess over the next 16 days.​
Spectators will not need tickets to access
the upper quays. At least 600.000 spectators
will be able to attend the festivities, ten times
more than in an Olympic stadium.

Chloé Sheltersuits

Under the leadership of Chloé’s Creative
Director Gabriela Hearst, the luxury
fashion brand has stepped into a new age
of putting social and environmental sustai-
nability at the forefront of its operations.
Her first collection at the fashion house for
Autumn/Winter 2021 was a clear depiction
of the brand’s vision: creating a better
future through ambitious efforts to be
environmentally conscious on all levels. ​
The French fashion house launched a social
initiative in collaboration with Sheltersuit:
they give two Sheltersuits to the homeless
community for every sold backpack and
coat. In addition, all these creations were
designed from upcycled materials.​
The Sheltersuit is a wind and waterproof
jacket with an optional sleeping bag
attachment to provide immediate shelter.
Over 2.500 Sheltersuits were distributed
until today in Europe, but there are 150
million people worldwide without a place
to call home. That’s why the organization
needed to scale its activity by inspiring
collaborations like this one with Chloé.​
7 years on, Sheltersuit exists in The
Netherlands, South Africa, and the United
States, with products designed for the local
climate, local people, and their needs.

WASP (short for World’s Advanced Savings
Projects) is one of the biggest innovators
among the 3D printing designers. The
Italian company is major in sustainable
additive construction.
Their last design performance is a
revolutionary realization for the world of
luxury retail: they created a 3D printed
concept store for the luxury brand Dior.
This project took place at the picturesque
Nammos beach at the Four Seasons
Resort in Jumeirah, Dubai.​
The pop-up store includes two large
circular modules, constructed from
clay, sand, and raw fibers.​WASP creates
ecological buildings in which they use
natural materials from their surroundings.
Dior keeps on proving how precursor
they are in branding and creativity.
They showed us, as communication
professionals, that inspiration flows from
the reality of the world that surrounds us.​

100 Years For Chanel N°5​

Chanel celebrated the 100th anniversary
of its worldwide famous and legendary
perfume, Chanel N°5. The French
fashion house lit up the Miami sky with
an impressive drone light show and
introduced an installation by Es Devlin at
Art Basel.​
Creativity goes far beyond a canvas, from
sculpture to film and even perfume.
This is what motivated Chanel’s decision
to organize the celebration in this
place. “One hundred years is the new
opportunity to celebrate Chanel N° 5, but
the fragrance gets our attention every
year,” says Chanel in-house Perfumer and
Creator Olivier Polge.​
The installation, dubbed N°5 The Right
Number, featured symbols inspired by
Chanel. It also included mastermind
Gabrielle Chanel’s love of talismans, telling
the story behind the brand’s notable
double C monogram, the camellia flower
in the French fashion house’s designs, the
significance of the Place Vendôme and
more. The massive designs in the sky were
made by 540 drones synchronized to
music and even included a 600-foot tall
bottle of Chanel N°5!​

Seppe Nobels, in collaboration with Chris
Bryssinckx, the non-profit organization
GATAM and the city of Antwerp, launched
a new project in the port of Antwerp in June
2021. At the Instroom Restaurant, Seppe
and his team of refugees serve fusion 2.0
cuisine with two things in common: they
all love to cook and they have all fled their
countries in search of a better future.​
At Instroom, Seppe and his multicultural
brigade are now cooking the signature
dishes that these refugees have brought
to Antwerp. Today they learn how to cook
them the Seppe Nobels’ way. This means
integrating Belgian products and techniques,
in combination with their own culinary tradi-
tions. Dining in the new Instroom restaurant
is therefore not only a culinary experience
but also a very personal and social journey.​
Seppe constructed the Instroom Academy,
in collaboration with GATAM, so he could
build a restaurant where people can have
a great meal while at the same time guiding
disadvantaged groups to the labor market.
The designer of this ambitious learning/
work project, Antwerp based ecofriendly-
star chef Seppe Nobels, has just obtained
a green Michelin star.​

The power of one man
John Eyers, CEO of the architectural firm
Jaspers-Eyers, bought an abandoned castle
near Saint-Hubert for his family in 2015.
The initial idea was to reconstruct it to
its formal glory and use it as a private
residence. He wanted to dedicate each of
the four castle towers to his four sons. But
after he learned more about the rich history
of the castle the plans changed and John
decided to turn it into a hotel and restaurant
so others could also enjoy the castle and
its surroundings. Mirwart is one of the most
beautiful villages of Wallonia, situated in
the middle of 1350 hectares of woodland.
The castle is restored with respect for its
history and attention for contemporary
comfort and state-of-the-art technology.
This leads to interesting contrasts between
the historic elements of the castle and the
high-end design. After buying the castle
the owner started the historical research
of Château de Mirwart and was awed when
he discovered there have been 55 owners,
including Karel De Grote, Charles the Great,
Filip the Good and Leopold the First. 
This exceptional place offers a unique
experience for anyone who wants a break
from the daily routine in a highly refined
stay in the Ardennes forests.

Parisian citizens and visitors will have the chance to attend the opening ceremony in the city. Impressive shows and performances will be held along the Seine river, spectacularly ending the ceremony at the Trocadéro space with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.​Paris 2024 is breaking new ground in sports competition by bringing sports into the city and out of a stadium. Taking on a new guise, the parade of athletes will be held on the river, with boats for each national delegation, equipped with cameras to allow viewers to see the athletes up close. Winding their way from east to west, the 10.500 athletes will thus cross through the center of Paris, the overall playing field for the games, showcasing their sporting prowess over the next 16 days.​ Spectators will not need tickets to access the upper quays. This project took place at the picturesque Nammos beach at the Four Seasons Resort in Jumeirah, Dubai.​ The pop-up store includes two large circular modules, constructed from clay, sand, and raw fibers.​WASP creates ecological buildings in which they use natural materials from their surroundings. At the Instroom Restaurant, Seppe and his team of refugees serve fusion 2.0 cuisine with two things in common: they all love to cook and they have all fled their countries in search of a better future.​ At Instroom, Seppe and his multicultural brigade are now cooking the signature dishes that these refugees have brought to Antwerp. Today they learn how to cook them the Seppe Nobels’ way. This means integrating Belgian products and techniques, in combination with their own culinary tradi- tions. The initial idea was to reconstruct it to its formal glory and use it as a private residence. He wanted to dedicate each of the four castle towers to his four sons. But after he learned more about the rich history of the castle the plans changed and John decided to turn it into a hotel and restaurant so others could also enjoy the castle and its surroundings. Mirwart is one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia, situated in the middle of 1350 hectares of woodland. The castle is restored with respect for its history and attention for contemporary comfort and state-of-the-art technology. This leads to interesting contrasts between the historic elements of the castle and the high-end design.
