Currently working as planetarium lecturer in Astronomical Society “Ruđer
Bošković” (since 2003) and in primary school “Sveti Sava” in Belgrade (since 2013).
She had been working as a researcher at Belgrade Astronomical Observatory (1998–
2003), director of the Public Observatory and Planetarium of Astronomical Society
“Ruđer Bošković” (2004–2009), pedagogue-educator in Student dormitory “Jelica
Milovanović” (1999–2000). Coauthor of seminar Galileo teachers in Serbia (2011–
2014) and Lodestar – leadership in education and its importance for economy
prosperity (2012–2014). She got PhD thesis at Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade
University, in 2016: The nature of extracurricular educational activities in planetarium
and its contribution to the advancement of geography and physics teaching; master
thesis Line profile variation of Hβ spectral line and structure of of emitting region in
active galaxy Akn120 at Faculty of Mathematic (2002), where also got BSc degree in
astrophysics (1997).
In astronomy field and field of communication astronomy with the public she
published 20 scientific papers, being the author of seven science communication project
(most important: First mobile planetarium in Serbia, UNESCO donation 2008;
Modernization of Belgrade Planetarium, Ministry od Science and technology
development of Serbia, 2008).
2. Representing Society of astronomers of Serbia and Astronomical Society
“Ruđer Bošković” she participated in dozen national and international conferences
(most important: National Conference of Astronomers of Serbia 2014, 2011; European
Conference: Show Physics 2009; World Conference in Communication Astronomy with
Public, 2007 and 17th International Planetarium Society Conference 2004).
Nataša Stanić published four books (book of poetry Multiverse of Love, 2014;
science-popular books Star Cities, 2004 and AstroLies, 2005 publish by Institute of
textbooks and teaching aids Belgrade; and book of poetry On the Event Horizon, 2002
by Knjigoteka) and screenwriter of astronomy TV show in cooperation with TV
Metropolis Belgrade Star detectives (2007-2008). She has been a contributor of Radio
Belgrade in science communication programs since 1997, and Scientific Redaction of
Radio Television of Serbia since 1999.
She is a prize-winner for cpecial contribution to the International Year of
Astronomy 2009 (awarded by International Astronomical Union), golden medal of
Photo Association of Serbia, three first awards in art photography and few awards in
literacy competitions.
