Question 4
1. Premiere pro blue screen.
A very important piece of equipment was used in the production
of our documentary that was the blue screen, most of our
interviews were filmed here and was a main addition to our
editing techniques. Using the chrome key we removed the blue
screen from behind the subject and replaced it with a relevant
image as one of our vox pops was the interviewee saying that his
favourite chocolate bar was a mars bar therefore we put a picture
of a mars bar behind him using the blue screen.
2. Radio room.
• For our voice over narration, for the recording of
our radio advert and for answering an evaluation
question I used the colleges radio room, as it has
all the equipment we needed. Including the
microphone, headphones and recording software
that was needed. The software was easy to use
and was simple to get from the computer in there
to the one I was working which I was surprised
about, the software we used was called Audacity.
It also had an option so that we could listen to
the recordings which was helpful as we could
spot any problems or mistakes that were made.
3. Photoshop.
• This is the software we used in the editing and
production of the print advert, we included
the channel 4 logo and our original image of
the girl holding the sugar cube. we then
imposed the banner with the name of the
documentary and when its on and what
channel.
