him, Hazrat Nizamuddin said to his desciple to write
something on the letter in Persian. It is said when the
King Tughlaq and his men entered into the pavilion
built for them, the main central pole of the great
pavilion tent gave away and it fell on the King and he
died instantly along with his commanders. So it was the

however, in the Mahabharata we learn of King
Lompada who adopts the daughter of Dashratha.
In later literature, this daughter of Dashratha
becomes Ram’s elder sister. According to the
Oriya Ramayana or the Dandi Ramayana she was
adopted by the King Lomapada and later given in
marriage to Rishyashringa, a sage whose celibacy
causes drought in Lompada’s kingdom. Following

British army officer who imagined the tree
