Wangru Culture(পাথর সংস্কৃ তি)

3. What is culture ?
Culture is the values, beliefs, behavior, and material
objects that together from a people's way of life.
Culture has been called the way of life for an entire
society

4. Description: From the ancient time people
are using stones for various purposes. In the North
part of Africa, there lives a very ancient group
of people. They are known as "Wangru". Warngru is
a French word that means a group of people who
are very much familiar to stone . They believe that
stone is there God. They also believe God is helping
them in the form of stone from the ancient time.
Like to make fire with stone, to make arms with
stones, live inside stone cave and etc.

5. As they believe stone is form of God, they keep some
big stones in a holly place. They don't have a system
of government. Everyone in the area discusses about
their problem in the holly place and they solve their
problem. If someone commits any serious crime, he
is stoned to death. They do their prayer to stone.

6. Food & Accomodation: Generally they live nearby falls. Because
they believe that falls is a place of peace. They get almost all types of
resources from nature. They hunt in the jungle, catch fishes from falls &
grow some crops around their home.

7. Some Of them who are very poor, live in stone cave.
It also saves them from clod, rain & all types of
natural disaster.

8. Communication: They use donkey to move from one
place to another place. They also use pigeon to deliver
important letter from one place to another place. But most
of the they move from one place to another place by walking

9. Marriage Ceremony: As they are very familiar to falls,
most of the time they set their marriage function beside falls

10. Function: Cock fight is there very favourite event. Every week they organize a cock
fight game in a place. The rule of this event is the one who will lose in this event
have to give treat to the hole area. They also love to watch elephant games which
organize in 1st January.
