2. Biotechnology Society of Nepal is an apolitical, non-
government, non-profit organization motivated for promotion
of Biotechnology in Nepal and beyond. The establishment of
society is an endeavor for development of Biotechnology by
promotion and dissemination of knowledge about this cutting
edge technology
Established on 2007 registered at District Administrative Office
(DAO), Kathmandu and is affiliated to Social Welfare Council
(SWC)
Now, situated at Bhaktapur, Kausaltar
Present: 2000 general member and 500 life members with 100’s
of advisory members

4. Vision
BSN envisions an egalitarian and prosperous society where impact group
manage their resources efficiently and sustainably and rights and dignity
prosperous society are ensured.
Mission
Contribute to sustainable resource management, poverty reduction and
social justice of impact group through social mobilization, institution building
and collaboration with development actors.
Goal
Improving the quality of life of impact group through empowerment to
make them self-reliant and creating opportunities for livelihood
diversification through improvements in all fields related to biotechnology.
