Case Study on a Export Oriented Footwear Company - Leatherex (Bangladesh) Laboni Akter Tarana
This is my Individual Case Study on 'A Export Oriented Footwear Company - Leatherex' for Business Strategy course. This is a Decision Case which requires the full understanding of the business environment within which the company operates, a description of the problems that the company faced and the strategic decisions that helped the company overcome the situation.
All the necessary data were collected from secondary sources, namely Leatherex Official website, Leatherex Facebook pages, TV reports and YouTube videos, other relevant websites, reports and resources available online.
The term import is derived from the conceptual meaning as to bring in the goods and services into the port of a country. The buyer of such goods and services is referred to an "importer" who is based in the country of import where the overseas based seller is referred to as an "exporter". Thus an import is any good(e.g. a commodity) or service brought in from one country to another country in a legitimate fashion, typically for use in trade. It is a good that is brought in from another country for sale. Imported goods or services are provided to domestic consumers by foreign producers. An import in the receiving country is an export to the sending country.
NAF launched NAF Track Certified Hiring at NAF Next. The program gives students who earn a NAF certificate a leg up with job opportunities with 10 of the nation's leading companies.

The End of Course Exam for every course is constructed in exactly the same way.
16 course learning objectives are selected for assessment using the end of course exam. These 16 must be important, they must be assessable using multiple choice and short answer constructed response item types, and they must be evenly distributed over the units into which the course content has been organized.
The selected learning objectives have been vetted by industry representatives for importance relative to subject matter and course content.
The individual items have been reviewed by both industry representatives and experienced teachers for appropriateness.
The Scoring Rubric for Constructed Response Items is very simple. Each CR item requires two answers, and each answer is worth 1 point.
The sixteen learning objectives, with their locations in the curriculum, that are assessed with the EOC, are listed in the Admin Guide for Student Certification for each course.
Here is a partial listing for Principles of Information Technology.
The index number of a learning objective identifies the related
Unit and Lesson and is your key to locating course content assessed with the End of Course Exam.
