• Firsthand experience with my disabled daughter (Ashley) with Cerebral Palsy. I had to maintain a safe
and sanitary home environment. Ashley was diagnosed with chronic lung condition which required me to
become familiar with breathing machines, oxygen, feeding tubes, etc necessary for her treatment. This 13 year
experience with my own child made me aware of what being a care giver is and inspired me to become a CNA
