• Maintain laboratory, treatment records, as well as inventories of pharmaceuticals, equipment,
or supplies. ( noting when reordering is required)
• Prepare animals for surgery, shaving surgical areas and scrubbing the site. Catheter placement
when needed, with IV fluids and dosing of fluids.
• Give enemas and perform catheterizations, tube feedings, or gavages.
• Maintain instruments equipment, or machinery to ensure proper working condition.
(microscope, dental machine, digital radiograph, autoclave, as well as surgical tools)
• Maintaining anesthesia machines changing F/air filters as well as soda lime filtration system.
• Provide assistance with animal euthanasia and the aftercare of the animal.

• Dress wounds and apply splints or other protective wraps and/or devices.
