With the Murdock Trust’s assets growing from $91 million to $1.3 billion over the past four
decades, the foundation expects to make $50-$60 million in grants each year moving forward.
Having supported more than 3,000 organizations in the past, the foundation aims to expand its
reach by partnering with more nonprofits in the future.

According to Steve Moore, the executive director of the Murdock Trust, the foundation will continue
to listen to nonprofits that have direct involvement with the locals and firsthand knowledge of the
unique needs of the communities across the Pacific Northwest. Instead of directing nonprofits on
what to do, the foundation will support and work alongside them in serving the region.
