2. GYPSUM
Gypsum is a soft sulfate
mineral composed of calcium
sulfate dihydrates.
 Chemical formula
(CaSO4·2H2O)
 It found in lake and sea water.

3.  Gypsum use for manufacture of wallboard, cement
and plaster of Paris.
 2% gypsum added in the cement due to in controlling
the rate of hardening of the cement.

4.  This soft mineral gypsum is used in wallboards, plaster
of Paris (POP). Covering material for interior walls
