Appointment Letter
We are pleased to offer you ·employment as Assistant Sales Manager m our Company effective
August 8, 2014.
1. Your Gross Salary will be Rs.l8,000 per month.
2. Your place of posting will be at Toba Tek Singh.
3. You will be on Probation for a period ofthree months from the date of your joining.
4. Your increment will fall due on the first of January of the Year following your Confirmation and on
subsequent anniversaries ofthis date subject to the discretion of the management.
5. The Company will provide you no means of transport unless and until the same is required in
accordance with your job position and relevant Company rules and regulations in force or as amended
from time to time.
6. During Probation your services are liable to termination without notice or payment in lieu thereof. This
term shall apply to either side.
7. The Company reserves the right to transfer your services to any of its existing or future locations within
or outside Pakistan as and when deemed appropriate by the Company.
8. ·The Company may change your designation, responsibilities and duties from time to time, as it may
deem necessary.
9. When travelling on business outside your placement city, your travel will be m accordance with
Company's Rules and Regulations applicable from time to time.
10. You will be liable to pay Income Tax and any other Tax applicable on your earnings, during each year
throughout the term of your service.

11 . You will, unless prevented by ill health or accident, devote the whole of your time, attention and abilities
to the business ofthe Company.
12. You will work as a full time employee ofthe Company and shall not without prior written consent of the
Company, engage directly or indirectly, in any trade, business or occupation whatsoever nor to publish
any book, brochure or pamphlet or to contribute any article I communication to any newspaper or other
publication whatsoever whether for remuneration or otherwise.
13. It is inevitable that you will, in the course of your duties, come into the possession of information about
the affairs and plans of the Company or of companies with whom it has dealings or is otherwise
concerned. Some of the information may be a Company Secret or·of a Confidential Nature and we would
like your agreement that at no time, even after leaving the Company's employment, will you disclose
such information either to people outside the organization or to those persons inside who should not
rightly be in possession of it. Any such disclosure of information made whilst in the Company's
employment would result in instant dismissal without notice.
14. It might happen that while you were a member of our staff, you invented or designed something that
might relate to the products, process or business of the Company or its associates. In such a case the
Company considers it only equitable to point out that invention, trademark, trade name or design, even
though developed outside working hours, would have to be treated as property of the Company and you
would be expected to join the Company in effecting necessary registration.
15. You will have no claim against the Company and you will not be entitled to and will not claim against
the Company any payment (whether by way of separation benefits, compensation or otherwise
howsoever) on account of your ceasing to be an employee of previous Company by acceptance of the
Company's offer of employment or otherwise and I or on account of terms and conditions of your past
employment with your previous employing Company.
16. Your appointment shall at all times be governed by the Company's Rules and Regulations as
promulgated I amended from time to time. You are required to attend to your duties throughout the
prescribed hours of work except official holidays as may be prescribed.
17. Upon successful completion of your Probationary period, you shall be confirmed as a permanent
employee and then, in addition, the following terms and conditions shall apply:
a) This employment relationship may be terminated either by you or by the Company with a prior
written notice of one month or salary in lieu thereof. It is, however, understood that no notice is
required in case your services are terminated on grounds of misconduct, wilful neglect of duty,
breach of trust or any other dereliction of duty or misdemeanour prejudicial to the interest of the
Company. It is further understood that any financial indebtedness of yours, standing to the
detriment of the Company's prestige will amount to a very serious misdemeanour towards the

b) If in the course of your employment you suffer from any serious ailment or permanent disability
of any kind which in the opinion of the Management may or is likely to interfere with the due
performance of your duties, further continuity of your services will be at the discretion of the
Management
c) Your entitlements and benefits shall at all times be governed by the Company's Rules and
Regulations ofthe Company as promulgated I amended from time to time.
d) Upon termination of this employment you are required to return to the Company all its property in
your possession inclusive of any correspondence conducted by you, officially or otherwise, in
connection with the Company's affairs, and to hand over physical charge to such employee as
authorized by the Company.
Please submit to the Company within one week of your joining date, the following documents:
• Photocopies of Clearance certificate and testimonials from previous employers.
• Two recent passport size photographs.
• Photocopies of your academic certificates duly attested.
• Photocopy of your National Identity Card.
• Names, dates of birth of your spouse and dependent children
• Nomination form duly filled-in.
• Company's Application Blank duly filled in completely (unless already done).
Also prepare I finalize your Job Descriptions (With your supervisor) and Objectives within your induction I
orientation period of about one week. This letter is being forwarded to you in duplicate and you are
requested to sign and return to the Company the duplicate copy of the same as a token of your acceptance of
the terms and conditions contained therein.
