2. Introduction
O Today’s customers and employees, particularly
digital natives, are expecting a new style of
commerce, content and collaboration that’s social,
mobile, analytics, and cloud enabled.
O They’re looking for the same anytime, anywhere,
and any-device convenience that they’re familiar
with in their personal lives through applications
from companies such as Amazon and Facebook.
O In terms of device usage, the “mobile elite” in the
workforce currently utilize three or more personal
devices for work and this number will only increase
as wearable devices such glasses and watches
add to end user options.

technologies add a new dimension to any business
model, to fully maximize their value consider the
sum is greater than its parts.
•The formula for the Future of Work is called SMAC

O The latest trend in this field is the use of Big
Data technology in Analytics
O The amount of data has increased rapidly
over the years and thus we now have the
potential to make better and more accurate
results.
O With this better ability to predict the future, we
can focus our products to specific
audience(called clusters), and thus the
sales/revenue can be increased for any
product.
5. O Combined use of cloud technology and
big data analytics will define the future of
technology.
O With cast amount of data kept on cloud,
and big data analytics being performed on
that vast data which is kept on the cloud,
we would not need any reason to
physically transfer the data to local
machine to analyze.
O Thus Big Data Analytics combined with
Cloud Computing will reform the
technology in the 21st Century.

O My area of interest lies in Big Data Analytics,
Machine Learning and Cloud Computing
O Through my previous internships and projects
I have a good exposure in these fields and I
would like to enhance my skills further.
O If given the opportunity, I would like to
combine cloud computing and big data
analytics. I would like to use Big Data
technology to analyze big data kept on cloud.
This has major applications and is a very
useful area to work on.
