2. INTRODUCTION
The internet of things (iot) is a scenario in which
objects, animals or people are provided with unique
identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a
network without requiring human-to-human or
human –to- computer interaction.
The term ‘Things’ in IoT can refer to anything and
everything that comes to your mind . Starting from a
heart monitoring implant to farm animals having
biochip transponders , automobiles with built in
sensors to even a simple chair having pressure
sensors , goods, objects, machines ,people , plants,
soil and many more can become the things in ‘IoT’
The relationship will be between people to people,
people to things ,and things to things

• SMART CITY uses digital technologies to enhance
performance and wellbeing, to reduce costs and
resource consumption , and to engage more effectively
and actively with its citizens.
• HEALTH CARE patient monitoring , fitness devices are a
better way to monitor one’s health ,keep with doctor

• VEHICULAR SAFETY this allows people to drive safely by
which every activity of the vehicle can be monitored
and will make sure its safety by predicting a accident
which might occur.

maintenance , environmental quality .industries can take
major advantages with automation using IoTs and
monitoring their plant production and equipment life.

6. INTREST AREA
My area of interest Internet of Things using wireless adhoc
networks ,sensors and cloud computing
If given a internship i would like to work on :
o Vehicular Auto-diagnosis -ensuring drivers safety by
checking his vitals etc continuous monitoring of the various
parameter of the vehicle and send it to a cloud and that
will decide the further actions of the vehicle
o Information collection from CanBus to send real time alarms
to emergencies or provide advice to drivers.
o Industrial application – monitoring various machinery and
providing a report and undergo various countermeasures.
o Machine auto-diagnosis and assets control.
o Domotic & Home Automation Switching on and off
remotely appliances to avoid accidents and save energy.
