Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Co-ordination with Consultants and Project Engineers in preparation of RFI.
• Inspection during coating to ensure the specification is being followed.
• Inspection of cured films of coatings to ensure its free from defects
• Inspection of materials to ensure they are as specified and in accordance to the
Data Sheets .
• Follow up of site works to ensure implementation as per project scope,
specifications, applicable international codes and standards and in accordance
with the project quality and safety plans.
• Use of Inspection equipment both destructive and non-destructive
• Strong technical knowledge in conducting QA/QC inspection
• Blasting & Painting/Coating Inspection which includes Humidity Check, Blasting
Profile Check, Dry & Wet Film Thickness Check and Painting Procedure
• Qualification Process such as Crosscut Test & X Cut tests, PullOff/Dolly Test
(Adhesion Test).
• Daily Inspection Reports preparation and documentation for Coating/Painting
application & inspection, all Qualification tests.
