• IELTS score of 5.5 overall

Program under UM-Flint’s conditional

OVERVIEW
● MLC Online helps academically qualified
students gain conditional admissions to
University of Michigan – Flint for
undergraduate studies.
● Students can begin university studies upon
successfully completing online English
studies at Michigan Language Center
(MLC). No need for TOEFL or IELTS testing.
● Students save time and money by starting
online English classes immediately. $425
to $900 per 5-week class.

1. Apply to UM-Flint and be conditionally
accepted by meeting GPA requirement.
2. Successfully complete MLC’s
Advanced-level classes.
3. Pass an MLC speaking interview and
essay evaluation with the Academic
Director.

English Proficiency Requirements Undergrad English Requirements: • TOEFL iBT score of 61 • IELTS score of 5.5 overall • SAT: 26 (Reading) • ACT: 20 (English) • MELAB: 69 • CEFR: B2 • Duolingo: 85 *If you wish to enroll in MLC’s Online Pathway Program under UM-Flint’s conditional admissions, then you do not have to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores To read more about English proficiency requirements, click here.
  • 9. 9 OVERVIEW ● MLC Online helps academically qualified students gain conditional admissions to University of Michigan – Flint for undergraduate studies. ● Students can begin university studies upon successfully completing online English studies at Michigan Language Center (MLC). No need for TOEFL or IELTS testing. ● Students save time and money by starting online English classes immediately. $425 to $900 per 5-week class.
  • 10. 10 REQUIREMENTS 1. Apply to UM-Flint and be conditionally accepted by meeting GPA requirement. 2. Successfully complete MLC’s Advanced-level classes. 3. Pass an MLC speaking interview and essay evaluation with the Academic Director.
