Monday 2 September 2013. Your success means that when you have fulfilled the other requirements set out in the
Regulations, you may apply for the Part 2 Membership examination.
Candidates are advised to read the revised regulations regarding the currency of Part 1 passes.
The Examination Regulations are constantly under review and it is your responsibility to be aware of the changes.
However, the College has established a Trainees’ Register. Membership of the Register will enable the College to
inform you of current activities including meetings that will be of interest to you, new publications and changes to
the Membership Regulations. You are therefore encouraged to join as soon as possible. Trainees who are based
outside the UK may also contact the relevant Chair of the Overseas Representative Committee for advice and
support (contact details on the College website). By joining the Trainees’ Register, you will be eligible for a
number of benefits including access to the Core Training eTutorials in StratOG, The Obstetrician &
Gynaecologist and more than 50% discount on a subscription to BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and

Please keep this letter as it is the only notification that you will receive. Please note that no certificates are issued
by the College for the Part 1 examination.
