1. 1.ANGLE
SECTIONS :
 Steel angle is a product which
has two legs to form a 90
degree angle.
 Angle sections are commonly
used as members in light weight
triangulated structures such as
trusses and towers.
 The attraction of angle section is
their ease of fabrication, they
are however more complex to
design than other types of
structural sections.

2. 3. I-Sections :
 I-beams (or I-sections), as the name states are manufactured in the shape of a capital 'I'. The core of the I-beam,
better known as the web, will ensure that resistance against shear forces is provided.
 I-section in comparison to any other provides higher section modulus and thus providing better lateral
stability as compare to other sections.
 The rolled steel I-sections are most commonly used as beams because these provide a large moment of inertia
with the less cross-sectional area and greater lateral stability.

3. 8. EXPANDED
METALS :
 Expanded metal is a type of sheet metal
which has been cut and stretched to
form a regular pattern (often diamond-
shaped) of mesh-like material.
 It is commonly used for fences and
grates, and as metallic lath to support
plaster or stucco.
