3. Introduction
 Entrepreneurship is attempt to create value through recognition of
business opportunity, the management of risk taking appropriate to
opportunity and through the communicate and management skills to
mobilize human financial material resources necessary to bring project to
between science and the market place, creating new enterprises and
bringing new products and services to market place.
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on 15th august,2015, start-up
India to promote bank financing for start-ups and offer incentives to
boost entrepreneurship and job creation.

4.  Entrepreneurship is globally considered as an
essential and most important source for economic
development. Globally economies face the challenge
of unemployment and the solution to this problem
can be entrepreneurship development.
 The state of Jammu and Kashmir is facing an
alarming growth in unemployment which is currently
more than 5,50,000 and is counting.

5. DIFFICULTIES OF ENTREPRENEURS IN
J&K: An industrial sector in Jammu and Kashmir is growing rapidly and there is a
need to bring out the state from economic backwardness.
 Lack of Knowledge and deficiency of proper training to spread their business,
so called as industrially backward state of the country.

Development Institute:
 The institute is supporting the government in formulating and
implementing its policies for entrepreneurship development by
helping the practicing and potential entrepreneurs through a host
of service like research, consultancy, information, training and
education.
 It also promotes entrepreneurship culture in the state by awareness,
entrepreneurship education, skill development and modification of
attitude.
 The institute has a valuable contribution by creating an exciting
record of achievements.

7. ROLE OF STARTUPS IN EMPLOYMENT
GENERATIONIN JAMMUANDKASHMIR:
 As Jammu and Kashmir is having abundant unutilised resources there is
huge potential for the start-ups to prosper and survive in the market
competition. For the development it is not only the resources that can
make the state self-reliant but in order to utilise the resources labour
and capital is also needed.
 Jammu and Kashmir state same thing is going to happen because when
we talk about the unemployment in state it is huge so by making the
cordial environment for start-ups in state not only the unemployment
ratio will decrease but also it is an alternate method for the government
to release the people of state from the distress of being unemployed.

8. CONCLUSION:
 Many businesses start with a dream but it takes more than just a dream
for them to grow into successful businesses including the tenacity to
overcome the many challenges facing start-ups today.
 Start-ups take time, effort and energy.
 schemes like digital India, start-up India, Stand up India, make in India
and others entrepreneurship development schemes can be the source
of employment which can generate aggregate employment in various
sectors especially in the small scale industries.
 The need of the hour is for the government to intervene in the positive
attitude to remove the barriers faced by units. Because after all the
success of the economy depends the industries especially small medium
industries.
