Build their houses on vacant lands
Self-made houses locally known as jhupri
Few are semi-structured houses
Single roomed housing
Have no cooking facilities

Have no individual access to the city's
water supply
Get electricity connections from
informal sources
Have no access to city sewerage
systems and share pit latrines
Few have access to municipal waste
disposal facilities
8. Health & Educational services
Limited access to the existing health
care facilities
Few of them use services from city
health centers
Majority gets their medicine from
pharmacies without the consultation of
trained physicians
have no formal schooling in their
lifetime
Children's are not attending school
