10. GRAPHIC NOVEL
This refers to a narrative in comic
book formats.
Note: In illustrated novels, the drawings illustrate or extend
the text. In graphic novels, the illustrations are the story.

12. MANGA
It is used in the English-speaking world as a
generic term for all comic books andgraphic
novels originally published in Japan.

Aliterary presentation where the author
incorporates doodle drawings and
hand written graphics in place of
traditional font.

Genre of fiction which addresses issues
