Fly from Cardiff straight to Cork with Aer Lingus (airport is 20 minutes from
the city and can get a bus in).
Fly into Dublin and travel down to Cork on a coach (3.5 hour coach).
I travelled from Cork to home (Cavan)
and back every weekend.

services) Cork.
Provides a wide range of services for children from birth to young adulthood
(usually eighteen years old).
Situated about 10 minute bus journey from the city centre.

your placement is!
Look around- you can get uni halls, private, digs etc.
I lived in digs which worked out better for me
