This document provides a mark scheme for assessing student responses on postmodern media. It is divided into several sections:
- The assessment criteria are explanation, analysis, and argument (EAA), examples (EG), and terminology (T).
- Different language is used to describe achievement at each level, from limited at level 1 to excellent at level 4.
- Sample student responses (models 1-3) are provided and marked according to the assessment criteria. Feedback is given on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Students are instructed to practice marking the additional sample responses.
