During Hispanic Heritage Month, DePaul
welcomes Mexico City bureau chief, journalist
Alfredo Corchado to talk about current
politics, the rise of cartels in Mexico, and
its relationship with the U.S. As Mexico City
bureau chief for the Dallas Morning News, he
is close to the action of Mexico’s government.
This event is open to the DePaul community
and public.

Favianna Rodriguez, transnational
interdisciplinary artist and cultural organizer,
as the keynote speaker. The Theatre School
at DePaul University will also be on hand
to treat attendees to a live performance of
selections from the fall production of In the
Heights.

The President’s Diversity Brunch, a long-
standing annual event, serves as a welcome
