2. During spring break, 2016, I will start
my trip to Lihue, Hawaii by riding
the ferry from Nanaimo to
Vancouver. I will likely eat on the
ferry which, from experience, I
know can about 15$. From the ferry,
I’ll take a taxi to YVR. Taxis from the
ferry to YVR generally cost about
100$, with a tip.

3. Upon arrival at YVR, I’ll take
a flight from Vancouver to
LA. I’ll board onto a Delta
Airlines plane which will
take me to Los Angles in 3
hours for about 400$. I’ll then
take a taxi (325$ for both
days) to the Tangerine Hotel
which will, for one night, cost
about 220$.

4. After I drop off my bags at
the Tangerine Hotel, I'll
likely be hungry so I’ll go
out and eat (60$/2 days).
After eating I am hoping to
visit Madame Tussauds
Hollywood, Santa Monica
Bay, of the first day, and
Universal Studios, on the
second. These all come to
an approximate total of
300$. After my visit at
Universal, I’ll take a taxi
back to the airport.

5. When I get to the airport, I will
take a flight to my next
destination, Lihue, Hawaii. I will
board a Hawaiian Airlines flight
which costs about 820$. After I
land, I will taxi (220$ for 2 days)
to the hotel I will be staying in
for the next three days which is
the Kauai shores, this will cost
about 820$.

6. While I’m in Lihue, I’ll take a helicopter tour
of the island, a river tour, and look at
Waialua falls. These will all come to an
approximate total of 440$. I will also need
money to eat for 3 days so I’ll have 150$ put
aside for that. Most of the locations aren’t
far from my hotel and some have shuttles
that are included with the price so I won’t
need taxi money until my departure.

7. On the final day of my trip, I will
taxi back to the airport and board
a flight on a Hawaiian Airlines
plane. This flight will cost about
1000$ because there are no stops
making it only about 12 hours
long. Once I get to Vancouver, I’ll
taxi back to the ferry terminal
(96$), buy a ferry ticket (17$) and
go home!
