To access library databases, go to the Indianapolis Public Library website and click on "Research" and then "Articles and Databases" under the student resources section. Select a database related to your subject area, enter your library card number and pin (last 4 digits of card number), and you will then be able to search and access articles within the selected database.

1. 1. Go to http://www.indypl.org.
Click on research on the green bar on top.
2. You will see a drop down with options.
Select articles and databases.
Select student resources from the left column.
3. Select desired database. There are a variety for different subject areas and needs.
4. Once you select it, you will be prompted to enter your library card number and pin. Your pin is the last 4 digits of your library card number.
5. After you have logged in, you will be able to select the database that you want and search for articles etc.
