1. ABOUT HOUSE OF HOPE RHODE ISLAND
Dana Altland and Jane Stach are the co-founders of House
of Hope Rhode Island, an affiliate of National House of Hope
in Orlando, FL. They first heard about House of Hope in
1998, when Sara Trollinger, the founder, came to speak at a
Women of Faith Conference in Hartford, CT along with a teen
from the program, who gave a powerful testimony.
Sara, a former schoolteacher, was led by the
Lord to establish a faith-based ministry called
House of Hope of Orlando 25 years ago. This
ministry consists of a residential program
where hurting, troubled teens can learn to
accept responsibility, submit to authority, get
along with peers and adults and most
importantly come to a saving knowledge
of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
