ORGANISATIONAL EXPERIENCE
• 2010-Co-FOUNDED the Zimdebate1o1 (a fellowship organization dedicated
to training debate and public speaking to Schools. It is now training
university and college students complementing the efforts of the
Zimbabwe Government to improve the state of speaking in the country.
The organization collaborates with alumni high school and university
students in volunteer adjudication at national tournaments and local
tournaments, training of students and training of trainers. The training has
also included training on tabbing, starting a debate union, going beyond
debating, article writing and stuff relevant to speaking. So far the
organization has proven to be the only student led institution that offers
debate and public speaking to students across the country)

• 2011-2013 Joined Contemporary Affairs Foundation (an NGO that works
with youth and students in conflict resolution and capacity building issues
and uses debate as its tool of communicating and empowering. This is the
organization that has been facilitating debates in Zimbabwe through
programs such as ZNDC,ZSDC, YPPL and ZPSC. At CAF I was appointed the
High Schools programs coordinator in which I organized and facilitated
most of the organization’s high school tournaments and trainings. I was
then promoted to be the Universities program Debate assistant trainer a
position in which I was training University student’s debate and public
speaking across the country. I was also assigned to the Communications
office in which I was responsible for the multimedia, publications and
documentation office of the organization.

videos of Zimbabwe debate news, tournament rounds, training modules
and public speaking trainings.

and issues that benefit Zimbabwe and Countries neighbouring.
• Facebook Group : Zim National Debate that is designed for all debaters to
be able to interact collectively, promoting interaction and making debate
News accesible to all Southern Africans

High School Debate and Public Speaking news
• Twitter : @zimdebate1o1 a real-time feed that keeps debate followers
posted on the latest debate news
