• EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Worked as an Education Adviser with (VSO-R) at District level for 2 years 3 months with Head
teachers, Education Officers, the DEO, teachers and PTAs. My duties with the above people
included, Planning, Training, Facilitation, Coaching Mentoring reporting plus Monitoring and
Evaluation. As a school Administrator (as deputy head and as head) I worked for a total of 8 years
where I was responsible for: Planning, Budgeting, co ordinating, Staff Developing teachers,
Teacher supervision, counseling, Resource mobilization and Examination Administration.
• CLASSROOM TEACHING AND SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION
I have teaching experience amounting to more than 20 years. At primary I have taught in the
mainstream and in special education classes / centers while at secondary I taught English Language,
Religion and History up to Advanced level .My duties were lessons preparations, administration of
examinations and written exercises, marking, liasing with parents, counseling and coaching co
curriculum activities. For learners with impairments I managed to help in assessments, placements,
counseling, advocacy and lobbying for both resources and rights of learners with disabilities.
Additionally, I carried out awareness raising and sensitization from local to national levels.
Coached learners who competed in Special Olympics at national and international levels while at
school level my main tasks included training vocational and daily living skills for severely
handicapped children. I also helped in peer training of fellow teachers up to provincial level in
planning, record keeping, raising awareness, assessment and placement and teaching learners with
disabilities using adapted methods.

2. Carried out district wide Needs Assessments for DEO, Education Officers, Head teachers and
classroom teachers in order to draw up Strategic plans and budget for trainings. Designed training
programs and relevant training modules and coordinated participants and facilitators. Delivered
training workshops (2013 to 2015) on leadership, Pedagogical Management, Special Needs
Education, data analysis, supervision, school improvement planning, making teaching and learning
resources, English, Proficiency including One – On – One Coaching and Mentoring to education
leadership at school, district and provincial levels from Jan 2013 and to end on 31 March 2015.
Implemented, Monitored, Evaluated and Reported on DFID funded”ALOA” Project monthly.

Presided over school level administration of Grade 7 and Form 4 ZIMSEC National Examination.
In 2013 I helped in the administration and marking of EGRA and EGMA Assessments Tests to P3
and P5 classes in 4 sectors of Ngoma for DFID/ALOA program in Rwanda . December 2014:
worked as Team Leader with the British Council where my overall role included custody and
security of APTIS Test materials, overseeing tests administration at 2 two provincial centers,
payment of travel expenses for test takers ,sending daily statistics to the Test Manager and final
dispatch of exams for marking.
