With over 25 years in technology and over 15 years in management, I feel my vast
experience would be a valuable asset to any organization. I thrive on solution
development and problem solving, utilizing my project management skills to
achieve specific milestones and goals always keeping key stakeholders informed,
while maintaining tight schedules and strict budgets. By far, my favorite role has
revolved around solution development and problem solving. I achieve this by
developing strong in-house resources, paired with heavily vetted strategic partners,
while carefully negotiating advantageous material contracts.
My technical skillset has been focused on hardware solutions, deployment, and
support. Throughout my career, I have been recruited to work with numerous
high-level clients requiring specialized, out-of-the-box solutions. I have been
effective in this role for many telecom, manufacturing and hospitality clients to
include Metropolitan Fiber Systems, Allegiance Telecom, WorldCom, mPower
Communications, Starwood, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Carlson, Michael Lewis
Company and many more.
My management experience spans both personnel and technology. From a
personnel standpoint, I have directed teams across multiple US markets, with a
variety of responsibilities to include product procurement and deployment,
network provisioning and management, as well as local, regional and national
support resources. Through these efforts I have been able to develop a solid
network of trusted resources along with specific processes to provide management
and documentation. When it comes to technology, I enjoy receiving a new product,
breaking the product, and then working with our partners to develop a fix that
works for all involved. I receive equipment every week from manufactures for this
exact reason, and I love it.
Over the past 25 years, I have been involved in business development, site
acquisition, contract negotiation, program development, and national deployment
and support for projects across the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
When my children ask what I do, I tell them I make things work, and I am really
good at it.
