1. THE
NEW
AMERICAN
MILITARY
I
am
going
to
digress
from
how
we
are
going
to
check
the
power
of
the
military
over
the
citizens
of
the
United
States
I
am
going
to
give
you
all
a
history
lesson
in
how
the
world
got
to
be
such
a
messy
place
in
the
last
110
years.
I
know
many
of
you
feel
history
is
such
a
boring
topic
but
I
will
try
to
enthrall.
I
don’t
think
any
of
you
have
heard
history
related
in
this
manner.
It’s
important
to
know,
when
considering
how
we
should
change
our
military
and
its
supervision.
I
want
to
answer
such
questions,
as
was
Germany
as
evil
a
country
during
the
first
half
of
the
last
century
as
most
of
you
believe?
What
forces
created
this
country?
What
forces
led
in
down
the
path
towards
dictatorship
and
nearly
twice
annihilation
in
the
two
great
wars?
When
Germany
was
created
they
had
a
few
national
character
traits
that
led
them
their
path.
Did
you
know
that
the
people
living
in
the
area
called
Germany
were
one
of
the
few
major
European
areas
that
were
able
to
resist
domination
by
Rome?
German
military
tradition
went
on
for
the
next
thousand
years.
The
pre-‐German
army
was
called
Prussians.
They
were
a
powerful
mercenary
force
in
the
middle
ages.
The
British
used
another
set
of
Germanic
forces
called
Hessians
as
mercenaries.
They
gave
us
hell
during
the
revolutionary
war.
They
were
the
most
disciplined
part
of
the
British
Army.
They
massacred
Americans
all
around
New
York
City
and
helped
decimate
Washington’s
forces
and
drive
him
out
of
New
Jersey.
It’s
ironic
that
one
of
the
most
successful
and
morale
boosting
engagements
of
the
Revolutionary
War
occurred
against
the
Hessians
at
Trenton,
New
Jersey
when
George
Washington
crossed
the
Delaware
River
on
Christmas
eve
and
delivered
a
crushing
defeat
to
this
highly
disciplined,
dangerous
force
of
men.
It
was
an
amazing
gamble
and
an
amazing
feat
of
arms.
But
even
so
if
the
Hessian
commander
hadn’t
been
wounded
early
in
the
battle,
it
could
have
gone
either
way.
Until
faced
by
Napoleon
the
Prussian
forces
were
considered
top
grade.
Not
much
could
stand
in
the
face
of
one
of
the
greatest
military
leaders
of
all
time,
so
they
were
defeated.
But
a
decade
later,
after
changing
their
military
doctrine,
and
commanded
by
General
Blucher,
they
helped
defeat
Napoleon
ending
his
career.
(If
you
like
military
history
then
you
should
read
General
Bluchers’
story.)
So
the
Germanic
peoples
have
always
had
a
strong
military
tradition
especially
their
army.
During
the
industrial
revolution
the
Germanic
people
were
latecomers.
But
the
size
and
variety
of
their
cities
grew.
World-‐class
universities
flourished
well
versed
in
science
and
culture,
especially
music
and
the
arts.
Unfortunately
they
were
unified
under
Otto
von
Bismarck
into
the
German
Empire
in
1871.
I
say
unfortunately
because
they
became
an
industrial
powerhouse
in
Europe.
They
quickly
surpassed
the
British
economy,
but
they
had
a
national
chip
on
their
soldiers.
All
the
other
European
powers
had
colonies
all
over
the
world.
Germany
was
last
to
the
party
and
they
were
jealous.
They
used
their
industrial
base
to
build
a
powerful
navy
that
could
oppose
the
British
and
bring
them
the
same
riches.
The
British
responded
to
this
threat
by
increasing
the
size
and
power
of
their
navy.
Parenthetically,
it
was
2. one
man
that
was
most
responsible
for
thwarting
Germany
in
both
World
Wars.
That
man
was
Winston
Churchill.
As
first
Lord
of
the
Admiralty
he
continually
pushed
his
naval
architects
into
building
more
powerful
and
faster
battleships
then
Germany.
He
rebuilt
his
battleships
with
bigger
and
bigger
guns
and
made
an
enormous
leap
in
their
mobility
by
changing
from
coal
to
oil
driven
ships.
You
have
no
idea
how
maddening
this
race
was
to
each
side.
The
cost
of
battleships
was
enormous.
They
represented
an
expenditure
of
a
large
portion
of
each
countries
gross
domestic
product.
To
further
thwart
Germany,
England
created
an
alliance
with
France
and
more
importantly
Russia.
Germany
responded
by
allying
itself
with
the
old
and
dying
Austria-‐Hungary,
Bulgaria
and
the
Ottoman
Empire.
I
think
people
tend
to
think
that
if
Germany
was
so
evil
in
the
second
war,
they
must
have
been
evil
in
the
first
war.
The
truth
was
that
none
of
these
countries
had
a
moral
leg
to
stand
on.
The
British
and
French
treated
most
of
their
colonies
as
if
the
inhabitants
were
their
slaves.
The
British
completed
a
brutal
conflict
in
the
early
1900’s
in
South
Africa,
basically
swallowing
the
whole
territory
into
their
empire.
They
were
the
first
nation
on
earth
to
create
concentration
camps
where
large
populations
of
innocent
civilians
died
from
disease.
Make
no
mistake
about
it,
the
British
Empire
with
its
actions
throughout
the
world
were
totally
ruthless.
The
French
were
not
much
better.
You
have
to
understand
as
well
that
the
whole
of
Europe
at
that
time
thought
they
were
the
most
sophisticated
and
culturally
superior
people
in
the
history
of
the
world.
That
there
would
be
war
in
Europe
was
unthinkable.
But
the
citizenry
of
these
countries
had
all
given
the
power
of
war
to
their
leaders.
This
is
what
led
to
their
downfall.
And
I
will
show
you
that
giving
the
power
of
war
to
the
American
government
had
dreadful
consequences
as
well.
Anyway,
Germany
was
in
a
difficult
strategic
position.
They
were
surrounded
on
all
sides
by
forces
almost
twice
their
number.
They
had
nothing
to
gain
by
going
to
war
and
everything
to
lose.
They
were
forced
into
war
by
the
network
of
alliances
in
Europe.
It
was
all
ignited
by
a
terrorist
attack
of
a
Serbian
nation
killing
the
successor
to
the
throne
of
Austria-‐Hungary.
The
alliances
created
a
chain
reaction
of
declarations
of
war.
As
I
have
explained
previously
the
military
tradition
in
Germany
was
the
strongest
in
all
of
Europe.
They
had
the
best
military
doctrine,
the
best
military
leadership,
and
the
most
disciplined
and
capable
army.
Because
of
their
difficult
strategic
position,
Germany
was
forced
to
strike
first
into
Belgium
and
France.
This
action
was
little
different
morally
then
when
the
Israel
Army
attacking
first
in
the
six-‐day
war
when
they
were
surrounded.
German
army
did
commit
many
atrocities
in
the
territories
they
occupied.
Israel
went
to
great
lengths
to
avoid
hurting
civilians.
Anyway
the
point
is
there
was
no
real
moral
reason
for
the
United
States
to
intervene
in
this
war
on
either
side.
None
of
these
countries
shared
our
ideals
or
moral
fiber.
All
of
Europe
was
equally
culpable
for
this
massive
destruction.
I
am
not
going
to
go
into
the
details
of
this
war.
Suffice
to
say,
that
Germany
almost
won
the
war
in
the
early
stages.
They
just
made
a
couple
of
crucial
errors.
One
of
the
biggest
problems
early
on
in
this
war,
was
no
one
understood
the
power
of
the
machine
gun
backed
by
massive
artillery.
After,
the
Germans
early
error
the
war
3. became
a
stalemate
of
trench
warfare.
But
what
I
don’t
think
you
might
know
is
that
behind
the
lines
in
the
industries
of
each
of
these
countries
war
production
grew
to
unheard
of
levels.
The
costs
of
this
production
far
exceeded
the
economies
of
France
and
England.
One
factoid
can
illustrate
how
huge
this
war
was.
When
the
allies
started
one
of
the
largest
offenses
of
the
war
the
crash
of
the
artillery
fire
in
France
could
be
heard
hundreds
of
miles
away
in
England!
Woodrow
Wilson
made
his
first
bad
policy
decision
in
coming
to
the
economic
aid
of
England
and
French.
He
justified
his
decision
by
saying
that
since
these
countries
were
Democracies
they
were
just
like
the
United
States
and
deserved
our
help.
The
truth
was
the
United
States
was
ill
equipped
to
loan
any
money
or
materials
to
Germany
anyway.
The
British
had
them
totally
blockaded.
United
States
trade
with
the
Central
Powers
fell
from
170
million
to
nothing.
Meanwhile
trade
with
the
Allies
rose
from
825
million
in
1914
to
3.2
billion
dollars.
By
1917
the
United
States
had
loaned
more
then
2
billion
dollars
(you
have
to
multiply
these
sums
by
a
thousand
to
see
how
staggering
the
amount
of
money
we
lent
the
Allies.
If
it
hadn’t
been
for
Wall
Street
and
our
government
the
war
in
Europe
would
have
ended
in
some
form
of
diplomatic
agreement
by
perhaps
as
early
as
the
end
of
1915.
Millions
of
lives
were
lost
because
of
the
United
States.
Without
United
States
funding
they
simply
could
not
have
continued.
As
the
war
escalated
in
costs,
the
British
and
French
debt
made
them
too
big
to
fail.
So
all
those
other
bull
shit
excuses
for
the
United
States
joining
the
war
on
the
side
of
the
Allies
was
the
same
excuse
the
US
government
used
for
supporting
our
big
banks
during
the
housing
crisis,
they
were
too
big
to
let
lose.
This
is
the
real
reason
Woodrow
Wilson
the
avowed
pacifist
changed
his
tune.
The
continuation
of
the
war
made
the
situation
in
Germany
desperate.
They
didn’t
have
the
access
to
fresh
capital
like
the
allies.
Even
though
their
people
were
the
most
industrious
of
all
of
Europe,
(a
fact
that
continues
today)
they
began
to
fall
behind.
Desperate
people
do
desperate
things.
Germany
knew
that
Russia
had
become
a
powder
keg.
It
just
needed
one
spark
to
completely
implode
and
free
it’s
soldiers
from
the
eastern
front
to
join
their
men
on
the
west
and
win
the
war.
That
spark
was
Lenin.
They
transported
him
to
Russia
and
financed
his
revolution.
Yes
ladies
and
gentleman
as
a
consequence
of
the
war
continuing
by
proxy
of
the
United
States,
communism
arose
in
Russia.
The
United
States
government
by
acting
to
prolong
a
conflict
where
no
one
was
morally
right
created
the
so-‐called
Evil
Empire
(Ronald
Reagan).
The
indirect
result
was
to
be
the
death
of
almost
30
percent
of
the
entire
population
of
the
Soviet
Union
over
the
next
thirty
years
ending
in
1945!
It
led
to
the
creation
of
the
Iron
Curtain
(virtual
slavery
of
all
of
Eastern
Europe
for
fifty
years).
And
sixty
years
of
the
nuclear
clock
almost
striking
midnight.
Are
you
beginning
to
see
the
truth?
But
wait
there
is
much
more
to
tell.
Woodrow
Wilson
used
the
excuse
of
the
Germans
employing
unrestricted
submarine
warfare
to
declare
war
on
Germany.
Any
naval
historian
can
tell
you
the
submarine
is
only
useful
employed
in
this
way.
In
point
of
fact
the
United
States
ordered
unrestricted
submarine
warfare
right
after
Pearl
Harbor!
Are
Americans
hypocrites
or
just
our
government?
4. Towards
the
end
of
World
War
One
Woodrow
Wilson
pressed
hard
for
a
“just
and
stable
peace”.
But
the
French
just
shouted
him
down.
The
result
was
that
the
United
States
abrogated
our
responsibilities
in
playing
a
role
in
the
most
important
surrender
agreement
of
the
twentieth
century!
Germany
was
forced
to
give
up
10%
of
its
territory,
it
was
totally
disarmed,
all
foreign
financial
holdings
and
it
s
merchant
carrier
fleet
were
confiscated,
it
was
to
pay
$30
billion
dollars
probably
the
equivalent
of
$30
trillion
dollars
today!
An
interesting
sidelight,
John
Maynard
Keynes,
the
Famous
British
Economist,
whose
theories
are
indirectly
responsible
for
our
present
$18
trillion
dollar
debt
was
attending
the
Peace
Conference.
He
predicted
that
the
stiff
war
reparations
and
other
harsh
terms
would
lead
to
a
financial
collapse
of
Germany,
which
in
turn
would
have
serious
economic
and
political
repercussions
in
Europe
and
the
entire
world.
Of
course,
hopefully
even
the
younger
generation
knows
what
happened
next.
If
you
don’t
lets
just
say
that
inflation
became
so
high
in
Germany
in
the
1920’s
that
people
had
to
load
wheelbarrows
with
cash
just
to
buy
a
loaf
of
bread!
The
major
point
here
is
that
the
United
States
not
only
was
directly
responsible
for
the
rise
of
Nazi
Germany,
but
it
was
indirectly
responsible
for
the
rise
of
Communist
Russia.
Furthermore
during
World
War
Two,
the
United
States
was
directly
responsible
for
turning
the
Soviet
Union
into
a
nuclear-‐armed
super
power.
Unintended
consequences
will
kill
you
my
fellow
Americans.
This
is
very
dark
stuff
my
fellow
Americans.
The
devastation
of
the
whole
world
at
the
hands
of
the
ethical,
moral,
charitable,
freedom
loving
people
in
the
history
of
the
world
the
United
States
of
America.
But
unfortunately
there
is
so
much
more
to
tell.
So
now
I
think
I
am
going
to
depart
from
modern
history
and
take
a
lesson
from
the
Old
Testament.
The
topic
is
going
to
be
are
the
citizens
of
a
country
responsible
for
the
actions
of
its
government?
Are
our
grandfathers,
fathers
and
now
us
responsible
for
continued
immoral
actions
of
our
government?
Dinah
the
daughter
of
Joseph
was
raped
by
one
of
the
men
of
a
tribe
called
Shechem.
When
the
son’s
of
Joseph
saw
that
no
justice
was
done
for
their
sister
they
laid
a
trap.
They
pretended
to
be
ok
with
their
sister
marrying
into
Shechem
if
all
the
males
got
circumcised.
On
the
third
day
after
their
circumscion,
when
all
the
men
were
suffering
and
weak,
they
killed
all
the
men
and
took
their
sister
back.
Their
father
Joseph
was
not
angry
with
his
sons
because
they
had
done
something
wrong,
he
was
angry
because
it
put
all
of
his
family
danger.
He
agreed
with
his
sons
that
everyone
in
that
town
was
responsible
because
they
had
not
righted
a
wrong.
So,
we
are
all
responsible
for
the
actions
of
our
government.
Are
we
going
to
continue
letting
one
man,
the
president
have
so
much
power?
A
power
that
we
know
is
still
being
misused
today.
Let’s
look
at
the
history
of
Japan
on
the
other
side
of
the
world.
Did
we
do
anything
to
provoke
a
war
with
a
country
that
was
once
one
of
our
major
trading
partners?
5.
Japan
was
a
closed
book
to
the
rest
of
the
world.
For
hundreds
of
years
from
the
early
1600’s
the
shogun’s
(the
Japanese
Military
Leader)
kept
Japan
isolated.
I
don’t
think
I
can
do
justice
to
the
nature
of
their
society.
They
were
just
so
different
then
the
rest
of
the
world.
They
had
elements
of
military
heritage
that
far
exceeded
any
other
society
in
the
history
of
man.
They
were
all
tremendously
disciplined.
They
had
a
class
structure.
A
Samurai,
one
of
the
members
of
the
higher
classes,
could
kill
with
his
sword
anyone
below
him
for
any
reason
with
complete
impunity.
They
believed
their
emperor
was
god
like,
but
mostly
he
had
only
a
ceremonial
role.
They
are
one
of
the
few
societies
who
commit
suicide
for
cultural
or
personal
reasons
and
no
one
considers
this
wrong.
You
should
appreciate
that
they
have
little
regard
for
individual
life
and
certainly
no
regard
for
the
life
of
their
enemies.
On
the
other
side,
they
have
a
strong
tradition
of
culture
and
cuisine
and
at
this
time
are
considered
a
sister
country
to
France.
(I
lived
in
France
for
about
a
year
in
2000-‐2001.
I
graduated
from
the
Cordon
Bleu
cooking
school
when
it
actually
still
meant
something.
Out
of
my
class
of
about
150,
50%
of
the
students
were
Japanese.
I
have
also
visited
Japan
twice.
I
can
see
the
similarities.)
Unless
you
are
a
world
traveler
you
cannot
understand
that
despite
the
passage
of
centuries,
all
of
the
countries
outside
of
the
US
have
separate
identities.
Even
in
Europe,
where
countries
are
small
compared
to
the
United
States
you
can
tell
when
you
have
crossed
a
border
that
these
people
are
really
different.
Japan
is
in
a
class
by
itself.
They
remain
probably
the
most
racist
people
on
the
planet.
The
only
reason
you
usually
don’t
see
that
side
of
them
is
because
their
culture
requires
them
to
be
so
polite.
One
of
our
least
known
presidents,
for
reasons
we
will
never
know,
ordered
Admiral
Matthew
Perry
to
force
the
Japanese
to
relinquish
their
middle
ages
type
of
government
and
enter
the
industrial
age
with
the
use
of
force
if
necessary.
My
assumption
was
that
there
were
a
group
of
businessmen
that
influenced
President
Fillmore
by
some
form
of
pressure,
bribery,
or
just
convinced
him
it
was
in
the
best
interest
of
the
United
States.
President
Fillmore
was
the
Vice-‐President
to
President
Taylor.
He
was
never
elected
President
not
that
is
really
important
to
the
issues
at
hand.
The
American
ships
had
the
latest
technologically
advanced
cannon.
They
could
have
wreaked
havoc.
Think
about
that.
A
US
President
authorized
murder
to
yank
a
peaceful
unknown
culture
into
the
industrial
revolution!
Wow.
This
turns
my
stomach
to
acid,
how
about
you?
I
have
read
the
letter
that
President
Filmore
wrote
to
the
Emperor
of
Japan.
It
sounds
very
peace-‐like
and
honorable,
but
first
of
all
the
emperor
had
no
real
power.
The
power
of
Japan
was
still
in
the
hands
of
the
Shogun.
Second
of
all
you
don’t
come
crashing
a
party
packing
heat
(an
old
term
for
being
loaded
with
weapons
you
youngsters)
to
join
it
peacefully!
(Maybe
Gene
Rodenberry
got
his
idea
in
Star
Trek,
the
Federation
not
influencing
civilizations
that
had
no
warp
drive
from
the
history
of
Japan.)
Taking
an
extremely
disciplined,
racist,
industrious,
warlike
society,
with
no
regard
for
individual
life,
and
pulling
them
into
the
industrial
revolution
was
like
giving
you’re
ten
year
old
a
machine
gun.
In
1904,
the
Japanese
launched
a
surprise
attack
6. on
the
Russian
Far
East
Fleet.
(Hmm
starting
a
war
with
a
surprise
naval
attack.
I
guess
our
navy
wasn’t
taught
Japanese
history
before
Pearl
Harbor.
(By
the
way,
the
whole
indignation
of
another
country
attacking
you
by
surprise,
I
don’t
get
it.
The
first
thing
you
learn
in
military
history
is
surprise
is
crucial.)
“The
Japanese
went
on
using
new
tactics
and
employing
new
technology
(the
radio)
to
destroy
an
entire
Russian
fleet.
Not
since
Admiral
Nelson
at
Trafalgar
in
1805(All
of
Napoleon’s
hopes
for
an
invasion
of
England
were
sunk
with
the
loss
of
his
ships),
had
a
nation
in
one
sea
battle
achieve
such
a
significant
victory.
It
enabled
Japan
to
seize
control
of
a
vital
piece
of
territory
on
the
Asian
mainland
called
Manchuria.
It
proved
to
the
Japanese
that
they
were
becoming
a
match
for
all
of
the
old
world
order.
Even
if
the
United
States
had
stood
up
and
realized
the
growing
danger
of
Japan
there
would
have
been
nothing
they
could
do.
But
instead
of
the
United
States
being
extremely
careful
when
dealing
with
the
rise
of
this
child
they
had
turned
into
a
menace,
they
did
everything
wrong
they
could
possibly
do
in
the
years
to
come.
By
entering
World
War
One
on
the
side
of
the
allies,
Japan
manipulated
the
situation
masterfully.
Their
history
of
political
scheming
in
their
own
country
served
them
well.
At
little
cost,
they
stole
all
of
the
German
possessions
in
Asia,
they
increased
their
influence
in
China
at
the
expense
of
all
the
other
powers,
the
US
included,
who
had
been
raping
Chinese
wealth
for
a
century.
Remember
half
of
our
population
lived
and
worked
on
farms
in
the
early
twentieth
century.
This
allowed
our
unscrupulous
businessmen
and
government
to
engage
unchecked
in
many
immoral
practices.
Their
economy
expanded
enormously
to
feed
the
allied
war
machine.
Their
navy
doubled
in
size
and
their
army
quickly
followed
suit.
The
extension
of
the
length
of
World
War
One
by
the
USA
brought
Japan
into
the
middle
of
the
pack
of
players
in
World
Power.
Japan
wasn’t
the
only
racist
regime
during
the
1920’s.
In
1924
the
US
congress
passed
this
law
that
tried
to
manipulate
the
type
of
immigrants
allowed
in
our
country.
One
of
the
affects
of
this
legislation
was
to
exclude
all
immigration
from
Japan.
Japan’s
world
war
one
built
economy
suffered
in
peacetime.
So
there
was
a
great
desire
for
Japanese
to
immigrate
to
America.
This
was
the
beginning
in
the
decline
of
relations
between
the
USA
and
Japan.
The
economic
difficulties
led
to
desperation.
The
military
took
advantage
of
the
economic
situation
to
assume
total
control
of
Japan
by
the
mid
1930’s.
So
now
the
angry
children
of
Japan
had
full
control.
They
expanded
their
occupation
of
China
to
control
the
entire
coastline.
This
really
made
our
government-‐business
alliance
very
unhappy.
After
France
fell
in
1940,
Japan
with
the
agreement
of
the
puppet
nation
Vichy
France
occupied
Vietnam.
It
turns
out
Vietnam
had
massive
resources,
the
French
had
been
exploiting
since
1887.
They
had
two
massive
river
deltas,
the
red
river
delta
in
the
north,
and
the
Mekong
delta
in
the
south.
Together
they
provided
large
quantities
of
rice,
an
n
extraordinary
variety
of
exotic
fruit,
and
a
large
variety
of
fresh
water
fish.
The
Michelin
Company
established
an
enormous
rubber
plantation
in
Vietnam
in
1925.
7. This
was
the
last
draw
from
our
State
Department.
We
embargoed
all
essential
resources
from
Japan.
An
embargo
is
probably
one
of
the
most
war-‐like
diplomatic
acts
a
country
can
employ.
They
had
to
know
that
Japan
had
no
source
of
oil.
They
knew
the
military
was
in
full
control
of
the
country.
They
had
to
know
that
their
navy
was
qualitatively
better
then
our
navy
on
almost
all
levels
at
least
considering
our
pacific
fleet.
They
had
to
know
Japan
had
a
history
of
employing
surprise
attacks.
What
was
our
government
thinking?
The
Japanese
economy
crashed.
The
embargo
was
an
ultimatum.
One
of
the
Japanese
leaders
asked
for
a
meeting
in
Hawaii
with
FDR.
He
said
he
would
bring
all
of
the
military
leaders
in
Japan
with
him
to
bind
them
to
some
kind
of
compromise.
President
Roosevelt
refused
to
come!
The
US
Navy
begged
him
to
let
them
sail
their
ships
from
Pearl
Harbor
to
San
Francisco
to
safety.
FDR
refused.
He
dangled
our
fleet
to
the
Japanese,
like
a
matador
uses
a
red
cape
to
enrage
a
bull!
Do
you
see
why
it
was
crazy
to
give
so
much
power
to
one
man?
And
then
he
has
the
nerve
to
say
the
warmongering
Japanese
murdered
our
servicemen
in
a
“day
of
infamy”!
The
kindest
thing,
that
you
could
say
of
such
a
man
that
it
was
a
“day
of
idiocy”.
I
am
not
a
conspiracy
nut,
but
we
were
pretty
damn
lucky
our
Carriers
were
not
at
Pearl
Harbor.
Harbor
during
the
attack.
The
only
thing
the
Japanese
sunk
was
obsolete
Battleships.
In
fact
we
were
amazingly
lucky
it
wasn’t
even
much
worse.
If
they
invaded
Hawaii
instead
of
just
bombing
it,
they
could
have
easily
destroyed
our
carriers
and
used
Hawaii
as
a
stepping-‐stone
to
invading
the
West
Coast.
It
is
not
as
farfetched
as
it
sounds.
We
were
totally
unprepared
for
such
an
attack.
My
main
point
is
you
don’t
threaten
another
country
with
war,
unless
you
have
vital
interests
to
protect
and
an
overwhelming
military
superiority.
FDR
had
already
begun
a
massive
rearmament
program.
In
a
year
or
two
he
could
have
threatened
them
with
real
teeth.
They
would
have
had
to
capitulate.
No
Americans
would
have
died.
FDR
could
have
given
the
Chinese
more
weapons,
so
that
they
could
have
defended
themselves,
just
like
we
were
doing
with
England
with
the
lend-‐lease
program.
Why
Japan?
Germany
was
much
more
of
a
world
threat
then
Japan.
The
Germans
were
much
more
ruthless.
But
FDR
did
not
stop
any
of
our
trade
with
Hitler!
The
biggest
players
in
our
economy
were
totally
behind
Germany.
This
list
includes
IBM,
Alcoa,
Ford,
Standard
Oil,
and
GM.
But
there
were
many
other
smaller
companies
as
well
that
helped
build
Hitler’s
war
machine.
Many
of
these
companies
had
subsidiaries
that
continued
to
operate
in
Germany
even
during
the
war!
So
now
we
are
in
a
world
war.
We
are
totally
unprepared.
So
many
American
deaths
that
were
unnecessary,
but
worst
of
all
the
unintended
consequences
of
many
of
our
President
FDR
decisions,
or
I
hope
they
were
unintended,
we
are
still
living
with
those
consequences
even
today.
What
were
those
decisions?
FDR
made
a
pact
with
Stalin
in
Teheran,
Iran
of
all
places,
over
the
objections
of
Churchill
to
allow
the
Soviet
Union
swallow
half
of
8. Germany
along
with
all
of
Eastern
Europe.
Oh
yeah,
Stalin
promised
he
would
leave.
Let’s
see
the
Soviet
Union,
the
same
country
that
had
an
alliance
with
Germany
at
the
start
of
the
war
that
took
over
half
of
Poland
and
all
of
the
Baltic
States.
The
same
country
that
had
invaded
peaceful
Finland
in
1940,
Stalin
can
be
trusted.
Let’s
not
also
forget
that
one
man
FDR
ordered
the
building
of
a
weapon
that
could
destroy
the
world.
That
same
man
allowed
Soviet
presence
in
the
USA
so
they
could
steal
our
nuclear
secrets
and
uranium
to
boot!
Most
of
you
probably
don’t
know
that
all
of
Germany’s
rocket
scientists
were
in
Eastern
Germany.
So
another
consequence
was
that
Russia
could
build
ICBM’s.
Not
a
bad
day’s
work
Mr.
President!
If
we
had
not
gone
to
war
with
Japan,
the
United
States
could
have
increased
lend-‐
lease
to
England
and
the
Soviet
Union
to
the
point
Germany
would
never
had
a
chance.
England
would
have
retained
full
war
output
from
its
colonies
and
personnel
in
Asia
to
help
the
fight.
We
should
have
kept
all
Soviet
personnel
out
of
country
so
they
could
not
spy
on
us.
We
could
have
manipulated
the
amount
and
quantity
of
supplies
and
materials,
so
that
when
the
Soviet
Union
had
recovered
most
of
their
territory,
we
could
have
cut
them
off
before
they
swallowed
half
of
Europe.
We
could
have
sent
Russia
tens
of
thousands
of
Sherman
Tanks
that
in
a
couple
of
years
would
have
become
obsolete.
There
was
no
reason
for
us
to
trust
Russia.
The
pact
that
the
Soviet
Union
signed
with
Germany
at
the
beginning
of
the
war,
to
swallow
all
the
three
free
Baltic
States,
Estonia,
Latvia
and
Estonia,
and
half
of
Poland,
showed
the
true
nature
of
Stalin.
There
was
no
clear
reason
for
the
United
States
to
get
involved
in
World
War
Two.
We
could
have
continued
sending
lend-‐
lease
to
Russia
through
their
port
on
the
Pacific,
Vladivostok.
We
would
not
have
let
the
Soviets
have
a
presence
in
the
United
States
during
the
war
to
spy
on
us.
Russia
has
always
had
a
culture
of
a
police
state
and
has
a
long
tradition
in
the
excellence
of
their
spy
craft
going
back
hundreds
of
years.
We
are
never
going
to
have
a
clear
win,
competing
with
them
in
espionage.
We
need
to
keep
as
many
of
those
Rooskies
out
of
country
as
possible.
The
war
might
have
gone
on
longer.
But
nothing
in
War
is
certain
except
death
and
destruction.
Despite
Einstein’s
warning
about
the
Germans
developing
nukes.
If
anyone
familiarizes
them
with
how
gigantic
the
Manhattan
project
was,
they
would
have
seen
clearly
that
Germany
neither
had
the
resources,
the
economic
power,
or
most
importantly
the
scientists
that
were
required
to
build
the
bomb.
The
project
required
a
diversion
of
the
United
States
economy
that
far
exceed
German
capabilities.
Russia
was
only
able
to
duplicate
our
efforts
because
they
stole
the
information
from
us.
But
by
entering
the
war,
it
became
Roosevelt
‘s
decision
what
post
war
Europe
would
become.
He
made
clear
strategic
errors.
Errors
that
Winston
Churchill
warned
him
about.
The
Soviet
Union
became
a
nuclear-‐armed
Super
Power.
Eastern
Europe
became
slave
states
of
the
Soviet
Union.
The
Russians
got
enough
share
of
the
German
rocket
scientists
to
orbit
sputnik.
They
stole
our
nuclear
9. technology
that
we
were
stupid
to
build
in
the
first
place.
They
even
stole
our
uranium.
Their
German
rocket
scientists
that
they
had
liberated
from
Eastern
Germany
furnished
them
with
intercontinental
ballistic
misses.
China
fell
completely
to
communism.
They
would
have
been
better
off
with
the
Japanese.
When
our
Navy
was
built
to
an
overwhelming
advantage,
simple
diplomacy
would
have
made
Japan
withdraw.
We
could
have
managed
the
nationalists
in
China
to
come
into
power
instead
of
Chairman
Mao.
Some
historians
believe
chairman
Mao
killed
two
hundred
million
of
his
citizens
to
pacify
his
country.
And
make
no
mistake
about
it.
The
Chinese
and
the
Russians
are
still
the
real
threat
to
the
United
States
all
because
of
FDR.
If
China
did
not
turn
communist,
North
Korea
would
have
fallen.
We
would
not
be
facing
the
dilemma
that
is
occurring
today.
I
live
on
the
west
coast,
I
would
not
be
happy
to
be
nuked
by
North
Korea.
Ok
you
want
to
hear
more.
Let’s
talk
about
the
poor
Vietnamese.
When
Japan
surrendered
the
poor
people
of
Vietnam
were
starving.
The
Japanese
had
stripped
them
of
virtually
all
of
their
food.
The
war
ends.
Finally,
Truman
wakes
up
to
the
dangers
of
the
Soviet
Union.
He
wants
to
create
an
alliance
in
Europe
to
thwart
the
Russians.
The
French
President
insists
on
getting
back
Vietnam
in
exchange
for
his
participation.
Truman
gives
in
to
DE
Gaulle.
But
France
has
no
resources
yet
to
govern
Vietnam.
So
whom
do
they
hire?
They
hire
ex-‐Japanese
soldiers
to
help
run
Vietnam.
One
million
Vietnamese
civilians
barely
crawl
into
Hanoi
and
fall
dead
of
starvation!
Then
during
the
following
civil
war
between
France
and
the
Vietnamese,
some
people
believe
another
million
Vietnamese
die.
According
to
McNamara
in
the
“Fog
of
War”
America
killed
another
million
Vietnamese
during
what
we
call
the
Vietnam
War.
In
Vietnam
they
call
it
the
American
war.
At
least
finally
for
one
of
the
only
times
in
the
history
of
our
nation,
our
citizens
put
an
end
to
this
travesty
of
justice.
When
I
visited
Vietnam
several
years
ago,
I
was
amazed
that
there
seemed
to
be
no
one
above
the
age
of
50.
So
who
was
more
evil
in
the
last
century?
Was
it
the
Nazi’s?
Yes
I
am
Jewish.
I
should
be
on
the
side
of
Roosevelt.
But
I
am
an
American
first.
Was
it
the
Soviet
Union?
Was
it
France?
Was
it
England?
Was
it
Japan?
Was
it
China?
Or
did
all
of
this
evil
come
about
as
unintended
consequences
of
the
good
old
USA?
Well
there
was
at
least
one
country
that
wasn’t
evil.
That
one
was
Vietnam.
They
just
wanted
all
the
invaders
out
of
their
country.
I
applaud
Jane
Fonda
for
going
to
Hanoi
during
the
war.
I
could
go
on
for
pages
and
pages
about
the
idiocy
of
our
Presidents.
Let’s
examine
the
Middle
East
briefly.
Since
Iran
is
in
the
news
lets
focus
on
them
the
story
with
Iran
begins
during
World
War
2.
The
Soviets
and
the
United
Kingdom
invaded
Iran
in
August
1941.
They
justified
it
by
stating
they
needed
a
conduit
to
send
supplies
to
the
Soviet
Union.
It
just
shows
how
the
United
Kingdom
had
no
compunction
in
invading
neutral
countries.
Churchill
should
just
have
had
the
United
States
increase
deliveries
through
Vladivostok,
the
major
port
of
Russia
on
the
Pacific.
But
10. of
course
hostilities
with
Japan
ended
that
route.
Another
reason
we
should
not
have
pushed
Japan
into
war.
As
if
you
need
any
reason
not
to
go
to
war.
After
World
War
two,
the
Soviet
Union
refused
to
withdraw
from
northern
Iran.
The
whole
situation
became
a
total
mess.
The
United
States
finally
succeeded
in
pressuring
the
withdrawal
of
the
Soviet
Union.
It
was
the
beginning
of
the
cold
war.
From
this
time
forward
the
United
States
government
continued
to
be
involved
in
Iranian
politics.
In
1953,
the
CIA
even
arranged
a
coup
d’état
putting
the
Shah
back
in
power.
According
to
some,
the
CIA
even
helped
the
Shah
create
the
SAVAK,
the
organization
responsible
for
the
torture
and
execution
of
political
prisoners
and
violent
suppression
of
dissent.
And
you
thought
we
were
the
good
guys.
With
our
support,
the
Shah
was
able
to
remain
in
power
until
1979.
You
should
know
that
we
sold
and
shipped
more
arms
to
Iran
then
we
did
to
Vietnam.
So
revolutionary
Iran
was
armed
to
the
teeth
by
the
United
States.
So
what
did
the
United
States
do
then?
Of
course
we
armed
Iraq
to
the
teeth.
So
the
first
war
with
Iraq,
we
had
to
fight
a
country
that
we
had
armed.
You
must
know
the
rest.
Of
course
we
destroyed
Iraq
in
the
second
war
because
of
their
supposed
weapons
of
mass
destruction.
There
are
plenty
of
countries
with
weapons
of
mass
destruction.
Why
did
we
pick
on
these
guys?
Isn’t
it
obvious?
President
Bush
wanted
payback
for
the
attempt
on
his
father’s
life.
Besides
the
entire
American
dead
and
severely
injured
we
spent
almost
two
trillion
dollars
on
this
war.
It’s
said
that
that
another
eight
trillion
dollars
will
be
spent
for
taking
care
of
our
veterans
and
the
interest
over
the
next
forty
years.
A
trillion
here,
a
trillion
there
soon
were
talking
about
real
money.
Of
course
since
Democracy
equals
freedom,
we
did
are
best
to
establish
a
shiny
new
Democratic
government
in
Iraq.
That’s
worked
out
well.
We
also
rearmed
Iraq
because
of
the
threat
from
Iran.
It
just
goes
around
and
around.
Now
Isis
has
control
of
all
those
shiny
new
tanks!
I
have
never
understood
the
concept
that
it
was
necessary
for
the
United
States
to
stay
in
Iraq
after
we
killed
Sadaam
Hussein.
We
completed
our
mission
and
it
was
time
to
get
out.
It
was
a
very
rapid
victory.
I
don’t
think
we
destroyed
much
of
their
infrastructure
that
we
owed
them
anything.
I
mean
the
conspiracy
nuts
say
that
it
was
Dick
Cheney,
(the
civilian
Secretary
of
War
running
the
war
in
Iraq),
with
his
connections
to
Halliburton,
the
oil
service
company
that
helped
rebuilds
Iraq
that
extended
our
stay?
Maybe.
Not
important.
Hey
fellow
Americans
all
this
money
has
either
come
out
of
your
pockets
or
will
come
out
of
you’re
pockets.
My
heart
goes
out
to
our
lost
and
injured
soldiers.
Instead
of
spending
all
that
wasted
money
and
lives
in
Iraq
trying
to
uselessly
create
freedom
with
Democracy
we
should
have
just
exported
our
culture
to
them.
What
is
American
culture?
It
is
Hollywood
movies
and
shopping
malls!
So
how
many
shopping
malls
with
multiplex
cinemas
fully
stocked
with
goods
could
we
have
built
for
two
trillion
dollars
in
Iraq?
I
think
the
Iraq
situation
would
have
turned
out
much
better
my
way.
At
least
we
might
have
had
a
chance
to
break
even
in
cash
flow.
11. By
the
way
this
is
our
history.
We
get
a
major
war
started,
like
World
War
two
with
the
devastation
of
Japan
and
Europe.
Then
we
give
them
all
the
money
they
need
to
rebuild.
Then
our
businessmen
go
in
there
and
make
a
killing
rebuilding
their
country.
Another
massive
way
our
government
redistributes
wealth
in
our
country
from
the
poor
and
middle
class
to
the
unscrupulous
rich
guys.
(And
no
I
am
not
a
commie;
I’m
sure
most
of
our
wealthy
citizens
earned
their
money
honestly
and
deserve
to
keep
it.)
And
you
thought
we
were
a
capitalist
free
society.
What
a
joke.
Everyone
pick
up
a
book
or
watch
the
movie
The
Mouse
That
Roared.
It’s
a
funny
brilliant
satire
of
this
very
subject.
When
are
you
guys
going
to
get
up
and
do
something
about
this
situation?
Please
vote
for
me.
Or
get
somebody
else
to
take
over
my
agenda
and
vote
for
him
or
her.
(But
no
one
else
is
more
capable
of
breaking,
manipulating
and
changing
the
rules
of
the
game
then
I
am.)
Otherwise
all
of
you
are
scumbags.
Oops
now
I
have
lost
all
of
your
votes!
All
right
I
hope
I
have
convinced
you
that
our
military
command
and
control
system
has
been
broken
since
the
only
decent
President
we
ever
had,
George
Washington.
He
is
the
only
one
I
have
not
found
anything
negative
in
the
history
books!
My
solution.
Of
course
get
rid
of
the
President,
the
congress,
all
of
the
Department
of
Defense
excluding
military
personnel.
As
far
as
a
replacement
for
a
civilian
oversight
of
the
military
this
is
my
idea.
We
should
create
an
opportunity
for
citizens
to
develop
a
clear
theoretical
and
practical
knowledge
of
the
workings
of
our
military
forces.
They
should
go
have
a
similar
education
as
our
officers.
But
since
they
will
not
be
serving
officers
they
can
learn
the
theory
and
capabilities
of
all
branches
of
services.
They
should
go
through
all
the
advanced
officer
training
schools
and
the
war
colleges.
They
should
observe
the
implementation
of
war
plans
and
be
involved
in
war
simulations.
They
should
consist
of
members
from
all
of
our
states.
Together
they
can
form
the
civilian
oversight
board
they
can
do
the
following
functions.
Together
with
the
Pentagon,
they
can
advise
and
consent
to
all
major
decisions
in
each
area
of
the
military.
The
initiation
of
the
use
of
military
force
on
nonemergency
basis
(i.e.
That
we
are
about
to
be
nuked!)
Should
be
a
discussion
among
the
pentagon,
the
civilian
oversight
board
and
the
secretary
of
state
(who
is
suppose
to
find
a
diplomatic
solution
first
of
course).
If
the
civilian
oversight
board
agree
on
a
consensus
to
use
military
force,
it
should
be
presented
to
the
public
in
a
thorough
manner.
I
guess
we
will
need
to
find
a
way
to
get
a
consensus
of
public
opinion
to
agree
with
the
board
or
disagree.
Of
course,
an
emergency
situation,
we
need
a
different
approach.
We
could
have
a
portion
of
the
board
each
day
placed
in
secure
locations
to
approve
or
disapprove
of
the
use
of
strategic
arsenal.
But
any
response
less
then
nuclear,
rules
of
engagement
should
have
already
been
agreed
by
the
full
board.
But
pretty
much
I
think
we
all
know
if
things
go
nuclear
it’s
the
end
of
the
world
anyway.
12. I
think
the
military
branches
need
reorganizing.
After
all
the
threats
have
changed
markedly
over
the
last
fifty
years
and
the
Pentagon
has
not.
Don’t
you
think
it’s
more
appropriate
to
have
the
military
supervise
all
our
intelligence
apparatus?
Shouldn’t
there
be
another
General
at
the
Joint
Chief
of
staff
that
gives
the
latest
intelligent
assessment
of
the
world?
Don’t
you
think
we
need
another
branch
of
service
that
will
manage
cyber-‐warfare?
Should
we
extract
all
of
our
strategic
assets
from
all
of
the
branches,
and
make
that
into
a
separate
branch
of
service.
Shouldn’t
there
be
a
real
Surgeon
General
who
is
in
charge
of
the
branch
devoted
against
biological
and
chemical
threats,
as
well
as
improving
our
civil
defense.
Perhaps
for
a
free
society
most
importantly
an
advocate
General
who
handles
all
military
crime
and
punishment,
and
determines
the
ethical
rules
the
military
needs
to
have
in
place,
review
of
the
code
of
military
justice,
control
of
all
of
our
military
police.
This
person
could
be
our
first
guard
against
the
unlikely
threat
of
our
own
army
conducting
a
coup
d’état.
I
have
heard
that
we
have
sadly
neglected
our
nuclear
forces.
We
need
a
new
general
who
can
lite
a
fire
to
get
things
back
to
where
we
have
overwhelming
nuclear
superiority.
Our
military
needs
to
protect
the
USA,
not
Saudi
Arabia,
not
Iraq,
not
Europe,
not
even
Israel.
Although
here
is
and
out
of
the
box
way
to
end
Israel’s
problems,
since
our
states
are
going
to
be
autonomous,
Israel
can
become
the
fifty-‐first
state.
No
one
would
attack
them
then!
We
have
also
sadly
given
up
on
space
as
the
high
ground.
Historically
the
army
that
can
control
the
high
ground,
which
is
now
the
space
outside
our
atmosphere,
has
the
clear
advantage.
Should
we
not
have
a
capability
of
taking
out
all
enemy
satellites?
Should
we
not
spend
the
money
to
develop
a
space
based
nonnuclear
strategic
offensive
and
defensive
capability?
There
have
been
ideas
that
have
been
neglected.
There
are
new
military
technologies
that
are
almost
ready.
A
combination
of
all
of
these
technologies
sitting
in
Orbit
could
theoretically
decapitate
the
command
and
control
capabilities
of
our
enemies
in
the
matter
of
seconds
preventing
a
nuclear
war.
If
we
had
those
capabilities,
we
wouldn’t
need
much
of
anything
else
to
protect
our
nation.
There
are
other
methods
that
could
be
employed
to
make
our
military
more
unified
with
the
civilian
population.
We
could
require
all
noncommissioned
officers
and
the
personnel
below
them
the
to
work
in
six
month
shifts,
alternating
with
work
as
civilians.
Then
only
our
officers
would
have
the
only
full
time
jobs
in
the
military.
I
have
only
scratched
the
surface
of
what
needs
to
change.
I
don’t
pretend
to
be
an
expert
in
military
matters.
But
I
think
I
have
shown
I
have
a
much
more
common
sense
approach
to
matters.
Or
maybe
all
of
you
think
I
have
completely
lost
my
mind.
Oh
one
other
thing.
Quantum
teleportation
has
been
successfully
engineered
on
a
chip.
This
is
going
to
make
communications
completely
secure.
In
ten
years
or
less
every
cell
phone
will
have
it.
So
goodbye
to
the
NSA
you
are
going
to
be
obsolete.
Probably
the
whole
internet
will
employ
quantum
teleportation,
which
theoretically
13. is
unable
to
be
intercepted.
That
could
imply
hacking
will
be
impossible.
It
will
also
make
a
giant
leap
in
the
speed
of
computers.
One
of
the
things
that
I
think
our
county
has
been
completely
irresponsible
is
sharing
our
weaponry
with
other
countries.
This
is
not
only
stupid,
it’s
immoral.
Barrack
Obama’s
plan
to
give
away
our
drone
technology
to
other
countries
is
totally
insane.
I
am
sorry
Defense
Industries,
but
I
think
we
need
it
written
in
the
constitution
we
will
not
sell
or
transfer
our
military
technologies
to
other
countries.
I
don’t
see
anything
wrong
with
giving
lets
say
the
Ukraine
enough
automatic
assault
rifles
and
man
portable
anti-‐air
and
and
anti-‐tank
weapons
to
prevent
Russia
from
taking
them
over,
but
sending
anything
more
sophisticated
Nyet.
But
we
all
know
from
one
of
the
Seinfeld
episodes
that
the
Ukraine
is
weak.
So
they
have
no
hope.
The
ultimate
reason
the
Soviet
Union
has
never
invaded
Europe
is
because
it
will
go
nuclear.
They
are
not
“MAD”
enough
to
do
that.
We
don’t
need
our
conventional
forces
to
defend
them
again.
If
every
man
and
woman
in
Europe
had
an
assault
rifle,
I
don’t
think
Russia
could
ever
gain
control
over
Europe
either.
So
give
them
all
assault
rifles.
It’s
cheaper
then
spending
ten
billion
dollars
a
year
keeping
an
army
in
Germany.
Oh,
I
just
mentioned
the
Secretary
of
State
again.
This
guy
or
gal
needs
to
have
at
least
twenty
years
under
his
belt
in
theoretical
and
practical
diplomacy
to
be
even
considered
to
have
this
job.
We
don’t
need
amateurs
running
one
of
most
important
positions
in
government.
I
guess
the
civilian
military
review
board
can
select
this
person.
