1. Evaluation
We as a dance group did well with the organisation as you
can see in the actual performance everybody was in time
with the music, we were arranged neatly so everybody could
be seen in the performance and everybody as a dance group
used the space we had in our performance and was spaced
out good, this is shown when Michael and Khatra used the
space on both sides also to show everybody was laid out
neatly we had a V shape so everybody could be seen in the
dance performance so nobody was left out.
Our dance was comedy and based on city life. To show our
dance was based on city life we used a freeze frame
imaging you had a watch on your hand and also had a dance
move with us imaging we had a business book in our hand
and that we were turning the pages in the book, although
people weren’t exaggerating good enough which was very
creative, we used comedy in our play because it was only 1
minute long and we wanted our dance to look enthusiastic
and energetic, to show that we used comedy; person to
person was battling out each other and came out with
something funny also when right at the end everybody died
at a sound of a gun but Zahra was still alive and then
dropped on the ground to make our dance funny.
It was effective for several reasons. Firstly the music
(black eyed peas rock-that body), the music related to our
dance performance also on city life because the genre of
the music we choose was aimed at robotic, so we added
robotic moves in our dance also city life has technology
which related to the
