EXPERIENCE:
November 2010 to Present: Process Engineer for Repair station and OEM product at Aerofab
Responsible for creating Repair/OEM routers and detailed work instructions along with the bill of material
for new parts per tech data and part drawings.
Used AutoCAD and Unigraphics to create blue prints and operation sheets.
Worked closely with customer support for product development and requirements.
Conducted cost estimates on repair scopes for customer support.
Participated in purchase decisions to determine the most cost effective manner in which to repair parts.
Worked closely with welding, laser, coatings,machining, and heat treat departments.
January 2010 to September 2010: Logistics/Purchasing as Belcan contractor at Rolls Royce
Worked directly with vendors and design engineers to ensure hardware was manufactured correctly and on
schedule.
Tracked all hardware on order from purchasing at suppliers and in house and expedited into stores.
Led supplier telecoms on a daily basis to check status and potential manufacturing issues.
January 2007 to January 2010: Manufacturing/Process Engineer at Pratt & Whitney IAT.
Process Engineer over multiple repair stations at IAT. Responsibilities included floor support through
interaction with operators in the station and reworking rejected parts.
Responsible for creating repair routers and detailed work instructions along with the bill of material for new
parts per tech data and part drawings, while keeping turn time to a minimum.
Helped the business increase on-time delivery from 61% to 96% through shop floor support and timely
completion of process routers and work instructions.
Used AutoCAD to create blue prints for tooling and layouts for tubes needing formed.
Participated in the reduction of Cost of Poor Quality from 2.18% to 0.80% in 2008.
