2. About EFF(S)L
 Eskisehir Fatih Science High School is a science school which started
education and teaching in a temporary building belonging to the Republic
of Turkey State Railways in Eskisehir in 1989.
 With the approval numbered 20965 dated September 11, 1989, the name
was changed to Eskisehir Fatih Science High School. The school, serving
until the academic year of 1995-1996, was moved to the permanent building
completed on July 21, 1996 in Yenikent District.
 Eskisehir Fatih Science High School, which accepts 120 students every year,
has given up to 2500 graduates since its establishment. While graduates
generally prefer engineering and medical fields, different fields of study
such as business, economics, pharmacy and basic sciences are also selected.

3. Location
 Eskisehir Odunpazarı, Yenikent District Uluçam Street 66. Number.
School campus; away from the dirty, noisy and turbulent environment of
the city, in front of the Eskisehir City Forest, overlooking the forest, airy,
close to the town and a road on the hill overlooking the Istanbul-Antalya
Highway.

4. Social Life
 Due to the fact that most of the school students are boarded, there is
a colorful and vibrant life during the education period, 7 days a week
and 24 hours every day. The presence of students from other schools
on campus also strengthens communication between schools and
provides a more colorful environment. Because the school is not so far
from the city center, students can actively participate in cinema,
theater, sports, hammam, carpet and other artistic and cultural
activities in the city. In addition, students get a great experience of life
by being thrown into their boarding life at the age of 14, and they can
develop themselves better in every respect according to their peers.
The fact that the school is located in a city where cultural events such
as Eskisehir are so rich gives the students the chance to participate in
various activities every year.

5. Social Life
 Excursions: Every year, visits to the historical and touristic places of our
country are held. In addition, the trips made to the universities in Istanbul
and Ankara every year become a source of motivation for the students.
 Conferences and Presentations: The conferences and presentations mostly
made by the teaching staff in the school hall give a scientific basis to the
students in higher education. In the presentations made for the students to
be ideal owners of university preferences and academic life, distinguished
universities such as ODTU, Bilkent University, Sabancı University, Koç
University, Hacettepe University and Boğaziçi University, who sometimes
come to the department with heads of departments and rectors, are
introducing their institutions to their high school students .

6. Social Life
 Tournaments: Basketball-Football-Volleyball-Chess tournaments are
organized between classes during each learning period. In addition, the
school teams have achieved important successes in Eskisehir and
throughout Turkey until now. Science High School Basketball
Championship in the province of Eskisehir Fatih Science High School has
been organized for a very nice tradition has made a nice initial home.
 Spring Festival: The arrival of the spring is celebrated in the school garden
with the games, competitions and fun events organized by the students.
 Poetry and Theater Days: Students are stressed for a whole year by the
poetry and theater days that students organize several times each semester.
 Concerts: Music clubs made up of members of the music club and school
students on some special occasions in the school show their talents to the
students.

7. Social Life
 Clubs: There are more than 15 clubs in the school that are entirely
student-based. Some of these clubs are: Culture and Literature
Publication and Communication Club, Sports Club, Music Club,
Librarianship Club, Travel Promotion and Tourism Club, Aviation Club,
Science-Science and Technology Club, Mathematics Club, Theater Club,
Cooperative Club, Social Assistance and Solidarity Club , Environmental
Club, Yeşilay Club, Red Crescent Club, Energy Efficiency Club, Chess
Club, Photography and Picture Club…

8. Successes

and 2005 Student Selection Exam in Turkey 6., 2006 in ÖSS 12, 2007 Among
the public schools in ÖSS 4, 2008 Among all high schools in ÖSS 25, 2009
In ÖSS Among all high school students, 12th, among state high school
students, 8th, 1998, MS was ranked 3rd among all high schools. In addition
to the ÖSS achievements, Eskisehir Fatih Science High School students
have achieved many degrees in many contests of painting, composition,
short story, theater, football, basketball, table tennis, swimming, wrestling,
chess, web design and scientific projects organized throughout Eskisehir
and Turkey since the foundation of the school. and each field proved many
times that they were pioneers. Aside from scientific and artistic
competitions and sports tournaments, Eskişehir Fatih Science High School
family has been tasked with helping everybody in need of help in Eskişehir
as a responsible individual in the social field.
