Navigation Solutions – Role & Responsibilities (April 2012 to November 2014)
Digital Marketing Analyst: December 2013 – November 2014
Continued implementation of our social media plan, built internal team relationships, worked
with outside companies to enhance and carry through our marketing plans, and traveled to
tradeshows to promote our products.
• Managed the online presence of Hertz NeverLost and related products on all social
channels
• Created and sent weekly/monthly social media data reports to internal NavSol team
members and the Marketing team at Hertz, which showed channel growth, tracked
competitors, and introduced new technologies
• Implemented weekly social media campaigns to grow awareness and consumer
interaction
• Ran weekly Facebook ads to promote our campaigns, products, and services
• Worked with the Product Line Management team to enhance the social media
presence on NeverLost.com
• Worked with the MePlusYou Agency on the re-branding effort the Hertz NeverLost
Companion mobile application as well as the launch program for the new NeverLost
tablet
• Participated in user experience testing for the new mobile application
• Provided engaging and informative weekly content that was relative to the Hertz
NeverLost services by writing weekly blogs, creating Pinterest boards, and curating
content on Storify
• Researched how other companies use social media to see how Navigation Solutions
could benefit from similar techniques
• Watched virtual sessions from the Social Media Marketing World conference to learn
about new trends and strategies
• Researched how the Hertz marketing team used SEO/SEM so that we could work
with them to better incorporate key content on NeverLost.com
• Worked with the Product Line Management team at NavSol and the Marketing team
at Hertz to make sure that all of the existing online copy got updated when our new
mobile application and new NeverLost tablet got released
• Created Mobile App Install Ads on Facebook for our new mobile app
• Worked as an Account Manager to handle the relationship that NavSol had with
Proterra Advertising as they worked to help us optimize our online ads as well as our
iTunes and Google Play store.
• Trained an intern on how to implement good company social media practices
• Attended tradeshows and conferences to enhance my knowledge and promote our
products
Social Media Specialist: August 2013-December 2013
Created a company blog, managed social media accounts, created engaging content, tracked
competitors with social listening tools, and grew the channels with new online marketing
campaigns.
 Controlled the Facebook and Twitter accounts for the My Explore Hertz NeverLost®
Mobile Companion (The Perfect Travel App!)
 Lead the integration of the Hertz NeverLost and IamNeverLost Facebook accounts into
one single channel
 Introduced and maintained new social media technologies
 Created weekly content that was user friendly, entertaining, and informative by writing
blogs, producing videos, and archiving stories
 Worked closely with the Hertz social media team in order to promote Hertz products and
ensure that NeverLost products were promoted by Hertz
 Strategized with the Ketchum public relations firm to implement and share relative
company stories
