2. What is a
Flow?
Lightning Flow—the product that
encompasses building, managing, and
running flows and processes.
Flow Builder—a point-and-click tool for
building flows.
Flow—an application that automates a
business process by collecting data and
doing something in your Salesforce org or
an external system.

3. The new Flow Builder vs Cloud Flow Designer
• Uses labels instead of API names
• Flow Builder combines variable types under one roof
• sObject variable, Collection variable, sObject collection variable are now
configured within the variable rather than completely different variables
• Data elements have been simplified – no more Fast elements
• Action elements have been combined under one roof
• Statics actions, Local actions, and Quick actions are all under the Core Action
element
• Flow Builder doesn’t include the Run Latest button. Instead,
click Debug and select Run the latest version of each flow called by
subflow elements.

4. Considerations
when using
Flow
Wait until the end of the flow to make your changes to the
database
• Flow has the same governor limits as apex
