Three Types of Chiropractic Care
Relief~This is the phase where pain is the main
concentration. The Chiropractor will recommend frequent
visits to control the pain. During this phase hot and cold
therapy may be advised along with home stretching.
Corrective~This phase centers on correcting the problem.
Most misalignments have been present for a long time and
need time to be corrected. The Chiropractor is training the
spine for proper positioning. Core strengthening exercises
will be give at this time to complement spinal adjustments.
Wellness-The final phase of chiropractic care is Wellness.
This phase allows you to participate in all of the fun
activities that you enjoy without feeling “down and out”. The
Wellness Phase keeps motion in the spine, allows the
chiropractor to respond quickly to “flare-ups” and decreases
healing time.
